Chapter 12

I haven't been able to sleep well for the last few days. The death of the CEO has really gotten to me. He trusted me, gave me somewhere to stay, took me in when Valorant abandoned me, just for me to shoot him in the head. Maybe I only feel guilty because my father knew him? I talked to Chamber about it and he said it wasn't something I should get so worked up about. We started to plan my next move, as of right now, I am the CEO of Kingdom. I've stopped all shipments of radianite as well as the harvesting of radianite. Valorant has started to notice and I've been noticing one of their "secret" scouts around. I don't do anything, though. It isn't a problem to me as of right now. My final goal is to fix the hole in our world. I want to stop the radianite, and the other world. Apparently, there's something called mirror Earth. The CEO made it seem like he produced these copies, when in reality, they were just coming from a portal. Destroying it will be the best option, but I don't know the outcome of it yet. I'm doing this for our world, for him. I basically own one of the most powerful corporations in the world, so I have Earth on its knees.
I know where the portal is, I just have to find out how to destroy it. What if the impact is too strong and destroys everything else? I have to be prepared for any possible outcome. I don't know what I'm going to do about Valorant, they treated me nicely before they kicked me out, so killing them would just feel terrible. I started writing a long, detailed letter, I plan on sending this to them with my plan, anonymously of course.

*The Letter*
On the 27th of this month, I will be sending the copies back into their world. They will go through the portal they came from, and to make sure they never come back, I will destroy it. I'm not sure how this will end, but one thing I'm certain about, is how different our lives will be afterwards. If we live, of course. The future will not be radianite, nor will it be technology. We will live in a society together, our bonds shall be mended. The day is approaching us soon, there is no reason to stop us.
Ascent, 4 AM. Prepare for the worst.

It took me some time to write the letter, but I know it'll be worth it. Vincente let me know as soon as it arrived, Brimstone was freaking out about, and so was everybody else. They know they can't stop it, not after all this.

After a few days, I meet up with Vincente. I want to talk to him a lot more, just in case I'm about to end the world.

"Vince, what do you think is going to happen."

"I'm not sure, mademoiselle, but one thing that I do know, is that I'll be by your side. The time I've spent with you has been incredible. I'm proud of how far you've come."

"Thank you. I've enjoyed our time together , as well. I didn't think conquering Kingdom or the world would be this easy."

"Haha, I suppose you're correct. It's a little too easy. If you have any doubts about it, just know that you're doing it for a good cause."

We both part ways and head back to our own headquarters. I've sent back all of the clones already. I just need to finish my part. I'm going to destroy the world by planting a different type of spike. Instead of it taking radianite, it'll inject it into the ground, causing the portal to blow up from the impact. This is a solo mission, and I'm ready for what's coming my way.
