The next morning I wake up alone. Chamber had left earlier in the morning and left a note that read, " I left early to patrol the neighborhood with Omen. Be back soon." He really could have texted me too but this is cuter. I put up the note and put it in my bag. I hear a knocking on the door and I let them in.
"Good morning, Neon."
"Morning."
"Ready to train for the next mission tomorrow?"
"Of course. Will Reyna be joining us?"
"Probably. What's that smell? It smells like cologne. Was someone sleeping here? What dude slept here?"
"A man? Neon, have you eaten? Maybe you're starting to smell things that aren't here because you're out of energy. Go eat and I'll be down in a few." I quickly close my door as soon as she left and picked out my clothes. I took a quick shower and tied my hair. I head out to start training with the others.
"Do you guys know when Chamber will be back?"
"Omen said they'd go around the neighborhood a few times and then come back, so soon probably, why?"- Neon
"Just wondering."
"Carino, do you have a crush on him?"- Reyna (Carino is dear in Spanish)
"No, don't be absurd. We're just really good friends.
"Whatever you say, mi amor." -Reyna
We get back to training for a while and decide to go out afterwards. When we're outside in the plaza we decide to do some shopping.
"Why are we acting like tourist? We've been here many times before." -Reyna
"Just for the fun of it." For the next few hours we buy all types of merchandise like turtle hats, turtle figurines, turtle glasses, any kind of turtle merchandise you could imagine! After a few hours we decide to head back to the hotel in our turtle themed outfits. We decide to knock on Omens door to see if he came back yet.
"What's up, Omen!"-Neon
"Hello, Neon." Omen invites inside and to my surprise, someone is sitting on the chair near his bed, Chamber. I quickly rush out to go change my clothes, "he can't see me wearing this!" I thought. I quickly change into something more appropriate, a navy blue sweater and the pants I was wearing earlier.
"What do you guys think that was about?"-Neon
"No idea."- Chamber.
I quickly hide all of the things I bought at the bottom of my bag. I quickly get in the shower even though I just changed because I need to look good. After I step out and put on my silky white robe I sit on the bed. I look out the window and then I hear knocking on my door.
"Come in."
"How are you?"
"I'm fine, what about you?"
"Better now that I'm with you. It took us a little longer than expected to get back, my apologies."
"It's fine, Vincent."
Vincent comes up from behind me and wraps his arms around me. He lays his head on my shoulder and I gently pat his hair.
"You're shaking. Vincente, what's wrong?"
"Brimstone called. He said something about a blackmailer. We're going to have to capture them sooner or later."
"It'll all be fine." I smiled.
"I suppose it's nothing to worry about at the moment."
I turn around and hug him. He kisses me on the cheek and hugs me back. He stroke his hand through my hair and falls fast asleep a few minutes later. I get up and change into my pajamas. I lay back down with him and cover us both with a blanket just to fall asleep a few minutes later.
note: okay hi guys so, I dunno if u guys know abt the agent cards on every map and stuff w the agents info and how some hacker is doing it but i hope u do cuz I'm going to add them to this story too eheheheheh
