Food delivery for Miss Elizabeth Hernandez. A delivery guy shouted.
I did not order anything. I said to Amanda who is seated beside me.
Miss Hernandez. The delivery guy repeated so I stood up.
Just get it from him. Amanda said so I did.
I am Elizabeth Hernandez. I said and walk towards the delivery guy.
Esign niyo na lang po yung revieved order ma'am, bayad na po yan. He said so I did sign it. Who ordered this for me?
Do you know who ordered it? I asked him as he handed me the paper bag of food.
Hindi ko po alam ma'am eh!He said and I nodded at him.
Thank you kuya. I said to him before he leaves and I went back to my place.
Who sent you that? Amanda asked me as I sat on my chair.
I don't know. I said to her.
Its prohibited to eat during working hours. She said to me. I know that but who send me this?
Wait, someone texted me. I said to her when I heard a message notification.

I Checked the message and its from Sir Simon.

" Have you received the food?" That's what he messaged me.

" The food is from you sir?" Messaged him back.

" Yes. Eat that first before you start on your work". He replied to me

"Its prohibited to eat during working hours sir". I replied to him.

"A person is more progressive if he/she works with a full tummy" he replied. He was right about that.

" I might get in trouble if they see me eat right now". I replied to him. I am just waiting for his answer.

Who texted you? Amanda asked.
Sir Simon. I simply answered her.
He has your number? She asked me.
He is the one who called me about my application. I said to her.
Really? Siya ang tumawag sayo? She asked me.
Yes. Nagtaka nga din ako na siya yung tumawag eh! I said to her.
What did he say? She asked me and I just shrugged my shoulders at her since I am still waiting for his reply.
Miss Hernandez, you can eat your food. Its fine with me. He said while he is approaching my place in a cold tone but smile a little when he reached me.
But sir... I tried to insist.
Its more progressive if you would work with full stomach. And that is an order. I said to me firmly so who I am to argue with him.
Yes sir I will eat already. Thank you. I said and smiled at him.
Good. He said to me. Go back to work. Sabi niya naman sa mga workmates ko na nakikichismiss with his cold voice and bumalik na sa office niya.
What was that? Amanda asked me.
What that? I confusedly asked her.
Did you ask him to let you eat your food? She asked me.
No I did not. I said to her.
Then why did he permitted you to eat? She asked me.
The food is from him. I answered her directly.
WHAT? She asked almost shouting.
Lower your voice Amanda. I said the food is from him. I said to her.
Really? How? She asked. She is even really confused about it.
I don't know. She just asked me if I had taken my breakfast and I said I would just have brunch later. I answered her.
How come the cold boss that doesn't like anyone in this office suddenly gave you food and I see him smile at you earlier? She asked me.
I know what you are thinking. We don't have anything and I also don't know why he is nice to me. I said to her.
You really don't know? Amanda asked me again.
Lets not talk about that right now, just help me finish this food co'z its quite a lot. I said to her just to change the topic.
Lets talk about it later but I wont help you with that food because you are the only who is allowed by Sir Simon to eat and ayaw kong mapagalitan. She said to me.
Okay. I'll just finish this food then I will start with my work. I said to her and she nodded and focused on her work again.

While eating, I could clearly see some of them looking at me and gossiping with their seatmates. Hindi ko na lang pinansin kase ayaw ko ng away at gusto ko lang na makapagtrabaho ng maayos. After eating I already started working. Everything is going well naman about my work and I don't  have a hard time doing it because I am used to doing this things kase I have done my OJT in another company before but I do still asked some questions to Amanda.

Are you okay? Amanda asked me.
Yeah! I shortly answered her.
Kanina mo pa tinititigan yang mga papers na yan. She said to me. Hawak ko kase yung mga papers at kanina ko pa tinitignan.
I am just wondering, why is this like this? I asked her.
Its supposed to be like that. She said to me and she even raised an eyebrow on me.
What I mean is, the sales is going down. I said to her.
I don't know also. Its not part of my job anyways. She said to me.
Kaya ba mainitin ang ulo ni Sir dahil dito? I asked her.
Madalas yan yung reason. Parating nasisigawan yung mga nasa sales eh! She said to me.
I want to do something about it. I said to her.
Wag ka nang makialam jan Eli at hindi na yan parte ng trabaho natin. She said to me.
But I am part of this company now at isa pa kasama na din ako sa makakarinig ng sermon ni sir. I said to her.
Bahala ka kung ano yung gusto mong gawin pero kung ako sayo, wag kanang makialam kase the head of the sales department is also strict. She said to me.
You know that I can't stay doing nothing. I said to her.
I am just worried about you Eli. Baka mapano ka kung makikialam ka. She said again.
I can handle myself naman and para hindi ka masyadong magworry, I will ask sir Simon's permission first before doing anything. I said to her.
Ikaw ang bahala Eli. Its still your decision pero sinasabi ko sayo na as much as possible lumayo ka sa bagay na makakasakit sayo. She said to me. I know that she just concerned
Don't worry, I know what I am doing and I promise you na iiwas ako sa mga bagay na makakasakit saakin. I said to her and she just nodded and went back to her work.

I really do understand sir Simon much more right now. There are a lot of things that is making him into this kind of person and he doesn't even want to share to anyone even his family. He is nice to me so I will help him sa abot ng makakaya ko.
