Athena: *pouring herself a glass of champagne*
Elle: Hey, mom!
Athena: *smiles* Hello, Elle. Are you enjoying the party?
Elle: Uh, yeah! It's a party!
Athena: *rolls her eyes*
Elle: Where's Hermes? I haven't seen him anywhere.
Athena: He's busy, of course.
Gods: *yelp*
Dionysus and Apollo: *panics as their cocktail mix bursts into flames and burns them*
Athena: And that's my cue to leave. Cheers. *raises her glass and begins walking out*
Hermes: *appears and wraps an arm around her from behind*
Athena: *turns around and smiles* Hermes? What are you doing here?
Hermes: Can't have you going to a party alone now, can I? See, you're already leaving so soon like you can't stand it here.
Athena: *scrunches her nose* I definitely can't. Everyone is just insufferable.
Hermes: *rolls his eyes*
Elle: *looks back and forth between them before leaving* I guess I'll take this as my cue to leave.
Athena: Come on, let's get out of here too.
Hermes: Uh, but before that...
Athena: *tilts her head to the side*
Hermes: *holds out his hand* Dance with me, my Lady?
Athena: *looks around before sighing and taking his hand*
Aphrodite and Artemis: *watching them from across the room*
Artemis: *crosses her arms* Look at them. I can't believe I lost thousands of drachmas over them becoming a couple.
Athena: *wraps her arms around his neck and starts talking about random things*
Hermes: *puts his hands on her waist and gazes at her softly*
Aphrodite: It's worth it, don't you think?
Artemis: Not really my cup of tea.
Aphrodite: Ugh, whatever, Artemis.
Hermes: *pulls Athena closer*
Athena and Hermes: *look at each other endearingly and smile as they continue to slow-dance*
Artemis: *snorts and cups her hands over her mouth* FOR THE LOVE OF ZEUS, JUST KISS ALREADY!
