Athena and Hermes: *laying in bed*
Hermes: *sleeping*
Athena: *holding Hermes' hand and stroking it with her thumb* Hermes, wake up.
Hermes: *groans in his sleep*
Athena: I have work to do and I need you to come with me for the whole day.
Hermes: *mumbles sleepily* Then do it later.
Athena: *squeezes and tugs at his hand* Hermes, come on. It's almost nine.
Hermes: *wraps his arms around her* Later.
Athena: *sighs*
*later*
Athena: *sitting on the bathroom floor with her back to the shower, holding Hermes' hand* I'm way behind on my duties for the day. I clearly did not think this dare through.
Hermes: *shampoo-ing his hair with one hand and humming to himself*
Elle: *bangs on the door* Can you hurry up?
Athena and Hermes: Just a minute, Elle!
Athena: *eyes widen as she slaps a hand over her mouth*
Elle: *blinks* Wait... Mom? Hermes? Are... are you two showering together?!
Athena: *starts turning red* No! It's not what it sounds like!
Elle: *backs away from the door* Oh my gods...
Athena: Elle, I swear -
Elle: I don't want to hear it! Bye!
Athena: That child is going to run her mouth through Olympus if we don't stop her. *stands up and starts rushing after her, with Hermes in hand*
Hermes: Whoa! A-Athena! Hold on a moment! *frantically grabs his towel and tries to cover himself up as he tries to catch up to them*
