Chapter (25)

The two of you just sat there staring at the slowly rising stars as they begun to pierce through the dusk sky as if it were a scolding knife through butter, everything felt perfect and peaceful for the first time since you'd moved into the cave, you were comfortable and felt insanely safe and relaxed where you were.

You were so relaxed you didn't notice the quiet ripple of the water behind you moving.

"Blue so what does this scale mean?-" you looked behind you just to notice it was empty, blue had left you on the grassy hill, you looked into the water to see that he indeed wasn't in there.

You begun to walk back down the hill although you notice a few large slick feathers on the silky grass that were almost evenly spaced out. You look the feathers as a bad sign naturally as they were too big to belong to a fish eating bird or one that ate mice, guessing by the size of the feathers the bird could do some serious damage to your skin.

You quietly found a smaller cave that you could only just fit in but it was better than staying out in the night with a giant bird where soon you wouldn't even be able to see your hands in front of your face.

You continued to back up into the hole just too back up against something warm and fluffy, you hoped it would just be a small bunny or a fox but it felt to have antlers or horns that you weren't able to make out.

Eventually you must've fallen asleep as you were awaken by the small fluffy creatures horns attempting to ram at your ass, it was rather painless but it felt half assed.

You just crawled out from the den happy that you weren't trapped in there until either you died, blue found you or the harpy got you.

You begun to tread your way back to the cave, you luckily weren't stupid enough to follow your instincts and just looked around until you saw the well built cove.

You continued on your hike until you managed to reach your cave which seemed to be a further walk than it actually was for some unknown reason.

But when you entered your little security blanket of a cave you'd noticed a half emerged in water nest that you could probably sit in comfortably.
