𝟎𝟏𝟐 . 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

~ The Next Day: Afternoon ~

(Y/N)'s POV:
I somehow decided to walk since I just finished working yesterday.

I go to the park, which is full of plants, and some people are having fun here too. I observed the place, and there were birds and insects roaming around the plants.

I decided to rest and sit on the bench after observing and walking. And now I'll just sit here and watch my surroundings.

While resting, I saw Cristina from afar, with a basket. I think she will spend time with her family here because I saw her niece beside her holding her skirt. Cute, though. Following her are her siblings and family.

Cristina was looking at me now, and she seemed happy and surprised. She is now walking closer to where I am sitting.

"Hi, (Y/N)! I didn't expect you to be here too," she greeted as she chuckled.

"Yep, likewise. What's the occasion?" I asked.

"We just have family gatherings, you know, like we just eat there or play. Talking about some stuff," she answered.

"I see. Have fun then!" I said as I smiled.

"Thank you! How about you? What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I just walked earlier, and now I'm resting," I said as I chuckled.

"Good! Oh yeah, did you know about the celebration tonight?"

"What is it?" I asked curiously.

"So, today is a holiday, right? Tonight was the celebration of it! Will you join?" she asked.

"Hmm, I'm not sure because Carlos and I have planned something today. And he said that it was at six p.m. I don't know where or what he is planning," I said.

"Ooh, maybe it was the celebration tonight! All of the people in the town were invited," she exclaimed.

"Maybe I will go if we go there."

"Sure, I'll see you around then!" she exclaimed.

"Yep," I replied as I smiled. And then I heard her family was calling for her.

"I guess I have to go. They are calling for me. See you!" she said as she smiled.

"See you, Cristina!" I replied, and she proceeded to go. I am alone again.

After resting, I decided to walk again. This time, not in the park. I will go to the store to eat some snacks.

While walking, I found the Madrigal family having a walk too. Yes, it's a holiday. No work or chores for today. All of them will enjoy their holiday too. I saw Carlos from behind. He seemed bored, but he still had to join with them. Haha. He didn't notice me, though. And I just continue to walk to the store.

After buying them, I'm eating them now as I walk home. I also buy some food for my mother.

As I went home, I saw some people preparing for the celebration tonight. So this might be the place that will be celebrated for the holiday.

And so I continued to walk.

Finally, I arrived and opened the door of our house.

"Má, I'm here! Are you now there? The door knob was open," I exclaimed.

"Yes, hija. I just came home!" she replied. Mamá went out too to buy something. Maybe it might be some food or other things. I offered to join her, but she said that it's fine, she would go with her friend. And she allowed me to go somewhere to relax my mind. So, I did.
