4 months later...

Carlos' POV:
It's been a few months. How's (Y/N) feeling towards me?

Anyway, I shouldn't rush it. I understand that falling in love and understanding the deep feelings associated with it take time. Well, some may be quick.

I'll hang out with her again. I want her to know me better.

I decided to leave my room, and the time is now 1:31 P.M. I went downstairs to leave, and when I was about to leave, I heard someone calling me.

"Hey, Carlos!" someone called. I turned around to see who it was, and I saw Mirabel.

"What?" I asked.

"Will you hang out with (Y/N)?" she asked.

"Yes, what about that?"

"May you invite her here? I just noticed she didn't visit here once during your hang out," she suggested.

"We prefer to hang out on the outside," I replied.

"Why? There is also fun here. We have a living house, foods, and much more! Let her explore our home because she will be moving here soon~" she teased. She might be right, though.

"Okay, I'll invite her," I agreed.

"Yes! I mean, good. I'll look for that." I got confused, but I shrugged it off and proceeded to leave the Casita.

(Y/N)'s POV:
I was just finishing up some journal entries when I heard someone knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" I exclaimed as I went downstairs.

I opened the door, and I saw Carlos.

"Hey, want to hang out at Casita?" he asked.

"Sure, wait a minute," I answered as I left him and proceeded to arrange my things in my room. After that, I arranged myself quickly, then I went downstairs.

After going downstairs, we decided to go now.

A few minutes later, we finally came here, and Casita let us in. And after we came in, I didn't expect to see almost all of his family there.

"Wait, what is this? Mirabel, did you tell almost all of our family about our hang out?" Carlos annoyingly asked.

"Not me! I didn't also expect this," Mirabel defended.

"I did. It's now the time to meet your special person, hermano. It piqued the family's curiosity." Dolores chuckled, and Carlos just sighed.

"I guess I'm oblivious, but who's the special person?" I asked.

"It's you!" Dolores exclaimed. H-how? I became speechless. I still can't believe I'm special to Carlos.

"So it's (Y/N)? You grew a lot, cariño! You used to be like a gentle teenager," Señora Pepa exclaimed as she came closer to me, caressing my cheeks.

"Yes, Señora. I'm (Y/N)." I awkwardly chuckled. And I saw Señor Felix from behind give a thumbs up to Carlos, and Carlos just looked away. I saw him blushing.

"Nice to meet you again, (Y/N)!" Mirabel exclaimed as she shook my hand. And Señora Pepa stopped caressing my cheeks so she could give me some space.

"Likewise!" I said.

"It's been a long time, (Y/N). How are you?" Dolores smiled. Why do I think almost all of them know me? I just can't believe they still remember me as well.

I bet that she knows my feelings about Carlos too.

"It's good." I chuckled.

"Woah, Carlos. Your special person is lovely. That is why she is so special to you. You almost love her for who she is." I heard Isabela chuckle. I just smiled at the compliment.

"Yeah, you may stop-- ah!" Carlos said as Luisa hardly patted his shoulder.

"Sorry, primo! I just got excited. We finally meet her." Luisa chuckled.

"That's right. Mamá and papá are not here, by the way," Mirabel said.

"Oh, mamá is preparing snacks for later. Papá is also doing his chores," Luisa said.

"Ah, they missed this moment. They will see her next time, anyway," Señora Pepa said.

"And, cariño, kindly stop calling me señora. You may call me, tía, and you may call my husband, tío," Señora Pepa chuckled.

", no!" Carlos exclaimed.

"What? Nothing is wrong with that."

"Ugh, still no. Let's just go, (Y/N)," Carlos said as he held my hand and proceeded to go to his room. I saw him blushing, it's obvious.

Camilo's POV:
Since lunch was just finished, I'm just resting and reading a book for a while. Then, I heard a noise from downstairs. That got me curious, so I just went out of my room.

I was now in front of my room, and I looked downstairs. I saw my family was gathered there.

Then, as I observed them, I saw a familiar face. Wait.

(Y/N)?

I rubbed my eyes if it's really real. (Y/N) is literally in our house.

It's real.

She became better. I would literally see her differently after not seeing her for many years.

I go back to my room. I opened one of my cabinets where most of the things I had when I was a teenager are still there.

The picture.

I took that picture of her when I was with her as she was gardening and I brought my analog camera that time. I still have it.

"She has really changed a lot," I mumbled as I looked at the picture.

(Y/N)'s POV:
While I'm sitting here on one of his sofas, observing his room, Carlos is finding something.

A question suddenly came to my mind.

"Uh, Carlos?" I called.

"Yes?" he replied as he was still searching for something.

"Do you... like me?" I asked. When I asked him that, he paused in his task. I speak after a minute of silence.

"He-"

"So what if I like you? Will you reject me?" he said as he continued on with what he was doing.

"Uh, hey. It's not like that. I was just curious. Every time your family says something about it, I just notice you blush a lot. So that's why I thought, but don't worry, I'm not encouraging you to like me more than friends." I awkwardly chuckled, and he stopped again.

'Damn it, she also noticed how much I was blushing. I'm becoming a different person since she came into my life. It just irritates me at times. I had enough,' Carlos thought.

I was about to say something when I noticed Carlos stop what he was doing and walk closer to where I was sitting.

He sat beside me and suddenly hugged me.

"I think it's also fine if I would like you. May I ask the same question? Do you like me?" Carlos asked.
