We just finished the date we had a few minutes ago, and I'm walking home now after I accompanied her to her home as well.

I felt myself smiling because of what happened today. I'm so happy. My heart keeps fluttering whenever I think of it.

While thinking, I realize that I'm now here at the front door of Casita. Then, Casita opens its door and I go inside.

I'm not sure if I'm late for dinner tonight.

"Congratulations!" they shouted as they threw some confetti and flowers on me. Wait, did they know about what happened today?

"Congratulations, you're officially now in a relationship! Woohoo!" Mirabel cheerfully exclaimed as she was aggressively shaking me.

Sigh... Of course, my sister is there, who can hear anything even if it's from a mile away.

"Ay! I'm feeling dizzy," I exclaimed.

"Oh, sorry." She awkwardly chuckled.

"You're just at the right time, Carlos. We will celebrate it as we prepare our dinner tonight." Dolores smiled.

"I bet it's just a normal dinner as before," I scoffed.

"Nope! Abuela knew about it also, so we made it special." Oh God.

"What? Did she become mad at it or-"

"Don't worry, Carlos. I'm glad she's the one for you. She's like a guardian from above who changes you somehow." Abuela chuckled as she came here. "The only solution to all of the problems we've noticed from you is her. Unbelievable," she added.

"Anyway, we would also like to meet her next time at dinner. Tell us when she will have free time, hm?" She smiled.

"Uh, sure, abuela," I said. Why does it feel strange?

"Good. Let's go into the dining room now, familia. We will celebrate this day." she exclaimed, and they came inside. I'm too stunned.

"Oye, congratulations, mi hermano. You now have a girlfriend. Her name is (Y/N), right? I'm happy for you," Camilo greeted as he aggressively patted my back.

"Damn it, why are you all so physically aggressive today?" I asked as I was trying to take the pain away from my back.

"We're just happy." He laughed as he massaged my back.

"Thanks," I replied as I walked away, then Camilo called me.

"Carlos."

"What?"

"Can we talk after dinner?" he asked.

"Sure. Let's just go inside," I answered as I continued to walk, and then he followed.

~ After Dinner ~

"What's with the sudden talk, by the way?" I asked as I sat on the sofa.

"I'll clarify something about that crush thingy I had on her before," he answered, then I just looked at him to let him continue what he was saying.

"So, I knew that you were kind of mad at me because I admitted last year that I used to like her. Sigh... It's the past and it will be the past. You don't have to worry or be jealous much anymore because I don't like her anymore. You know my status. I have a family now. I'll become a father. Yeah, that's it. I wish you to have a good relationship with her. I support you," he said.

Jealousy had blinded me to the fact that it was all in the past. He doesn't have feelings anymore for her. I guess I'm fine now about it.

I stood up and I just hugged him.
