2 months later...

As time passed by, (Y/N)'s feelings for Carlos were developing.

She didn't realize she was suddenly smiling at his simple actions and whenever she thought about him. It just becomes different as the day goes by.

She just loves the way he is.

Sometimes, she thought to herself, he might not like her back.

Well, we're still not sure what will happen in the future. Fate will lead the way to them.

After those moments, how can she not fall for him? She had already fallen for him without noticing it.

~ Night Time ~

(Y/N)'s POV:
It's time for me to sleep. It was exactly ten p.m., and I couldn't sleep.

The one guy in my mind is Carlos.

I can't understand why I think about him. This wasn't happening before.

What if I like him?

And how did I like him?

It's been months since we've gotten along well with each other.

Maybe I like him.

Or this might be a stupid thought again.

I'll think something about him.

No way...

Fine, I like him. Can my mind let me sleep? I really felt like my eyes were tired.

3 weeks later...

So, today, Carlos said we would hang out again.

As I went to the place where we would meet, I saw Carlos with Cristina from afar. He's talking with her. I saw them laughing.

Does Cristina like Carlos? If that's so, it's still fine.

Why am I sometimes unlucky in love?

I sighed quietly to myself. I walked away after hearing Carlos's call from a distance.

"Oye, (Y/N)! Wait! Huh, where will she go?" Carlos asked.

"There might be a problem. I'll talk to her," Cristina said, and Carlos just nodded.

- Back to (Y/N)'s POV -

I am now standing here where there weren't many people. I am still thinking about going there. Carlos might enjoy his time with Cristina. I don't want to disturb their time.

Then, I came back to reality when I heard someone was calling my name.

"(Y/N)? What happened? Carlos is calling you," she said

"How did you find me here? And regarding your question earlier, I remember that I'll do something today," I lied.

"Are you sure?" She smirked. It's hard to lie sometimes in front of your best friend, for real.

"Actually, I walked away because I didn't want to disturb your time with Carlos. That's why." I sighed.

"What? Haha, I just passed by and decided to ask Carlos something." She chuckled.

"It's fine with me if you like him. I'm not forcing you to leave him or anything." Then, I heard Cristina laughing.

"What do you mean?- Wait, are you... jealous? I mean, not that really jealous, as in you don't want Carlos to like someone?" she asked. I didn't answer, and after a few seconds, I just decided to speak.

"I like him." I looked down. I felt embarrassed and heated up.

"Really!!?" she exclaimed.

"Lower your voice." I awkwardly chuckled.

"Oh! Sorry, I am just glad. Finally, you forgot about your feelings for Camilo- wait, do you have feelings for the-"

"No, Camilo is already married. From now on, I only like Carlos," I confessed.

"Hmm, nice." She chuckled.

"Please keep it a secret."

"Sure, sure, as always." She chuckled again.

"And also, don't worry, I don't like Carlos. I just treated him like a villager or maybe a friend. I support you." She nudged my arm.

"I guess thanks?" I chuckled.

"Go to Carlos right now. I'll just go somewhere as well. Enjoy your date~" she teased.

"It's not a date." I sighed.

"Okay, just go. Good bye!" She chuckled as she walked away. And after that, I proceeded to go to where Carlos was waiting.

Mirabel's POV:
Carlos finally left the Casita a few minutes ago. It's my time! I mean, my time to tell Camilo about (Y/N).

Carlos was always telling me not to tell Camilo something I shouldn't. I'm not sure if he's being overprotective or something.

I know it's been a few months, but still, Camilo would be glad to hear it.

Also, his wife was with Dolores helping with the chores. I have time to talk to him.

And after thinking, I decided to leave my room and go to Camilo. This will be just like a minute talk.

Luckily, I saw Camilo about to enter his room. So, I ran and called him.

"Camilo!" I exclaimed.

"Oh, hola!" he exclaimed.

"Did you just finish your chores?" I asked.

"Yep, why?" he replied.

"I will tell you about what I didn't tell you a few months ago," I said.

"Ooh, sure. Let's talk about it in my room. Carlos might stop you again." He chuckled, and I nodded. After that, we entered his room.

"You may sit there. I'll just arrange the things- Oh. My wife has already arranged it." He chuckled.

"Your wife is really kind." I chuckled as I sat on the sofa.

"She is." He smiled as he sat on another sofa. "What will you tell me, by the way?" he asked.

"I'm sorry for telling you today! You know, Carlos is preventing me from telling you something, and we're also busy. So you know about (Y/N), right? She actually didn't leave here in town a few years ago. She was still living here, and she just doesn't show up that much. I guess that's good news. You will see her again!" I exclaimed.

"Woah. She didn't leave the town at all?" he asked.

"Yes!" I said.

"Great, I'm kind of missing my old friend, haha. And if that is the one you will tell me, I'm still curious why Carlos is preventing you from that. There's nothing wrong, though."

"You're right. Actually, there is a connection between them and that-" I was cut off when we heard a knock on the door.

"I'm now here!" someone exclaimed. Wait, that's his wife.

"Wait a second. I'm coming!" Camilo exclaimed as he went to his door.

After he opened the door, his wife hugged him, and Camilo hugged her back. Then, his wife looked at me as she smiled.

"Oh! Mirabel is here," she said as she entered the room.

"Yep, we just talked about my friend before." Camilo chuckled.

"Ooh, how is your friend?" she asked.

"I may have been uninformed of her situation. It's been a few years ago," he answered.

"Ah, that's sad. I hope she's doing well." His wife smiled.

"Haha, yes. Anyway, I need to go now. Thank you for your time." I smiled.

"Okay, thank you, as well," Camilo replied as he smiled. And his wife said good bye to me.

I proceeded to leave his room.

Well, that's enough for him to know. Sorry, not sorry, Carlos, if I did.
