One week later...

(Y/N)'s POV:
It's been one week since the celebration of the holiday happened. My mother informed me today that my older cousin, her husband, and their daughter, Zandra, will be spending their vacation here. Zandra was now ten years old. It's been a few years since they stayed here for a while.

While waiting, we prepare and fix the things here in our house for our visitors who will come here.

After a few minutes of preparing, we heard a knock on the door. And I opened the door. It was my older cousin with her family!

"Hello there! Welcome back," I cheerfully greeted.

"Hi, cous'. Thank you for welcoming us! Do you still remember Zandra, your second niece?" she asked as she looked at her daughter.

"Of course! Hello, how are you?" I asked as I looked at Zandra.

"I- uhm, I'm good, tía," she replied as she looked down.

"She's shy, but don't worry. She will get used to it. Zandra, hija. You know, she is the one who took care of you when you were one year old." My older cousin chuckled.

"Yes, your mother was right. Your tía was having a hard time taking care of you before, though." My older cousin's husband laughed.

"Hey, as if you're an expert on taking care of your first child, huh? You thought you didn't have a hard time too," I scoffed.

"I know, sorry. But I know now how to be a great father." We laughed.

Then Zandra spoke as she looked at her mother. "Really, mamá?"

"Yep, it is real." She smiled.

"Anyway, everyone, let us now go inside and arrange your things," I said, and we went inside the house.

", they are now here!" I exclaimed.

"Oh yes, welcome back! I'm glad you're here again to have a vacation." She chuckled.

"Yes, tía. Thank you for welcoming us." She smiled.

"You're always welcome. Your daughter is now growing. Haha. The last time I saw her, she was just a little and a cute baby," mamá said as she cupped Zandra's face with her hands.

"That's true, tía. She was just a little baby before." My older cousin chuckled.

"Right. Ay, (Y/N), guide them to their room. I will just prepare something. We will go somewhere today," mamá said as she smiled and stopped cupping Zandra's face.

So, I guide them to their room, which is in our extra bedroom. That room was fit for them, though. And they began to arrange their things as I left them.

After an hour, I was now in the living room, reading some books. Then, mamá told me something.

"Hija, please take care of Zandra. She will not go with her parents because we will go buy something for all of us. You can take Zandra anywhere. Let her observe the place. Is it fine, cariño?" she inquired.

"It's fine, . Have a safe walk then." I smiled.

"Thank you, hija. We will now go," she said.

"We're ready now, tía," my older cousin informed as she came to us.

"Good, let's go. Good bye, hija," mamá said, and the couple said good bye to their daughter and to me.
