"Don't tell the familia about my condition that has happened to me these weeks, especially since Carlos and (Y/N)'s wedding is today," Alma cautioned.

"But , they are your family; they are worried about you too." Julieta softly held her shoulder.

"That is what I was trying to point out, hija." She coughed as she placed her napkin to her mouth. "I do not want them to be worried today," she continued.

", don't say that you're going to die today. Please, no," Julieta begged with worried eyes.

Julieta had been attempting to heal her mother for several months prior to Carlos and (Y/N) getting engaged. Alma's family and the people in town had no idea what she had been hiding for a while; her illness is currently worsening, but she managed to conceal it for them, which is how she was able to remain inside the Casita for several months.

"I'm not saying that." Alma chuckled poorly. "I want to say you did your best at healing me, mija." She gave a sad smile.

"Don't worry, mamá. We will get through this; you will be healed; I believe it," Julieta stated.

"I know, but my illness is not fading. I don't think I could do this." She coughed.

"..." Julieta mumbled.

"Ay, just go for a while with the familia. I'll get ready for the wedding later," Alma suggested as she went up to her closet, and Julieta just nodded. After that, she went out of her room and saw the young ones teasing Carlos downstairs.

"Oh, yeah. Who will be Señor Madrigal today?" Camilo playfully rap.

"Carlos! Carlos!" his relatives cheered, while Carlos crossed his arms and obviously felt that blood rush to his cheeks while looking away.

"The one that he loved all the way?" Camilo continued.

"(Y/N)!" "Mom!"

"Wait up, we got confusion out here," Camilo stopped as he laughed.

"The one that he will spend the rest of his life with?" Camilo clarified with a playful rap again.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!"

"And they will get?"

"Married!"

"Today, and after that, he's going to bring her to be--" Camilo was cut off when Carlos jokingly smacked his face and he fell.

"That's enough, Camilo," Carlos exclaimed as he rolled his eyes.

"Ow, that kind of hurt." Camilo chuckled.

There's Julieta chuckling as she watches them, finally joining them downstairs.

"Are you all ready for the wedding later?" Julieta asked as she walked closer to them.

", tía. As proven by our groom's amazing suit and an unbuttoned shirt that's a little messed up. Yes, he is ready to show this inner man of his. Oyeeee." Camilo dramatically motioned his hand to a completely bored Carlos with messed up hair and a shirt.

"Woah, I see." Julieta laughed as her hand covered her mouth, and Carlos glared at Camilo.
