THE NEXT morning, elena and phoebe entered their history class together.
phoebe's eyes scrambled to stefan's seat, but it was empty.
her facial expression saddened as she continued to walk to her seat with elena.
the bell rang one last time with bonnie entering the room rather quickly, along with alaric saltzman, the new history teacher,"good morning".
both phoebe and elena noticed bonnie's frantic state when she first came in.
they looked over at the brunette with concern.
phoebe decided to push it aside to pay attention, but it still there.
''alrighty. let's see'' alaric stood in front of the chalk board and picked up the chalk, beginning to write his name on the board.
phoebe's eyes drifted from the front to bonnie again to see if she was alright.
the bennett teen caught her gaze.
"are you okay?'' phoebe mouthed, concerned.
bonnie just shrugged and turned her attention back to the front.
phoebe did the same, paying attention to the man who introducing himself and telling them what his name meant.

''and then i ended up at the remains of old fell's church before i woke up back in the woods'' bonnie had just finished explaining her experiences of waking up in the woods from a few days ago to elena and phoebe as they all sat outside at table.
''and you always see your ancestor emily?'' phoebe questioned.
bonnie nodded,"do you believe in ghosts?'' she asked her friends.
''2 weeks ago, i'd say no, but now--''
''i think i'm being haunted'' bonnie cut the gilbert girl off.
''i don't get it. why emily?''
''grams said she saw a powerful witch back in the civil war days and that this medallion was hers, a witch's talisman'' the bennett girl explained to the two, looking down at the necklace around her neck.
''and this all started when you got the necklace?'' elena asked, pointing down at the necklace.
''i think she's using it to communicate with me'' she suggested.
"okay, what does grams say about it?'' phoebe questioned, since grams is more experienced in this witchy stuff.
''i can't call her. she's gonna tell me to embrace it. i don't wanna embrace it. i want it to stop''.
both elena and phoebe sighed, trying to think of ways to help the bennett girl.
