𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘣𝘢𝘨 + 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 & 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳

𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧

phoebe struggled against anna's grip when she pulled her wrist towards her mother's mouth, making phoebe fall back to the ground on a huge rock.

the teen grunted as the woman sucked her blood.

she then heard the voice of her boyfriend.

"let her go!" stefan pushed anna out of the way and swiped phoebe quickly up on her feet,"go, go, i'm right behind you".

the girl almost immediately turned and ran leaving stefan with anna.

once phoebe made it out of the tomb, she stopped right in front of sheila, elena, and bonnie.

elena and bonnie released relieved breaths, glad to see their friend okay.

"phoebe, stefan..." bonnie started to tell her that her boyfriend didn't have the same luxury as her of getting out of the tomb.

"he's right behind me" phoebe cut her off, with a nod, before turning back to the tomb to see stefan standing at the doorway, but he wasn't coming out.

the girl furrowed her eyebrows at the action,"what are you doing?"

"don't worry. they're trying to fix it" elena assured phoebe.

"what is it?" she turned back to the brunette, bonnie, and sheila, confused and anxiously, waiting for an answer.

she wished they'd stop beating around the bush and tell her what's going on already.

"i can't".

the dawson girl turned back to her boyfriend, her eyes looking from him to the threshold of the door, "can't? can't what?" she asked, having a feeling she just figured out the answer.

"the spell's still up, we can't get them out. yet" phoebe heard bonnie explain to her.

the girl sighed, hoping it wasn't the same answer she cognited in her head, but it was.

vampires that go in can't come back out.

phoebe looked up to stefan, meeting his eyes, feeling a sense of panic rising in her chest,'he must have known, and he went in anyway',"why would you go in there, knowing you can't come back out?" she moved closer to stand in front of him, fear in her eyes that only he could see.

"i heard you scream" stefan answered softly.

the girl nodded a little in understanding before her mind went back to damon,"we can't leave him in there. we promised him".

"i know" stefan nodded.

"even if we're able to break through the seal, we won't be able to hold it for long" sheila voiced from behind the couple.

stefan glanced back to his girlfriend, sending her a short nod to which she quickly returned before he disappeared back into the tomb.

phoebe's eyes filled with tears, but she quickly blinked them away and mustered up the strength she had left, hopeful stefan will make it back, with damon.
