I closed my eyes so as not to witness the scene, I can't imagine that my first kiss would have been with a dog I didn't even know. Before the Rottweiler's lips could touch mine a dog spoke.
«Leave that dog alone, she didn't do anything to you!» A dog said aloud.
The Rottweiler stopped and moved dog that spoke, interrupting the kissed.
I breathed a sigh of relief, I didn't like which dog. But now I was worried about what might happen.
"Who dares to interrupt my business?!" The Rottweiler screamed causing all but one of the dogs to drop their heads and ears.
"It's me" A dog said in a firm tone.
"I should have expected the police dog. You always ruin everything, you've always been the rebellious one ever since you arrived." Said the Rottweiler getting into position to charge him.
The police dog also got into position but another dog came to stop.
"Sir dogs, don't fight, differences can be resolved differently." A not too tall dog said trying to calm the two dogs.
"You again? I swear that when I'm done with this dog you'll keep the new girl company."
The Rottweiler said in a mischievous tone.
"If you two fight, the guards won't give us food for some, you know how Humdinger thinks."
The dog said.
Humdinger's name made all the dogs in the cafeteria shiver, now they pleaded that the two dogs stop fighting and calm down.
"Okay, you see and what you want I'll stop." the Rottweiler said arrogantly.
"But I'm not done with you." He said in a low voice, approaching the police dog
When the Rottweiler left the room I calmed down and got up off the ground.
"Are you ok?" The short dog asked me. It was a Long-haired dachshund, his fur was smooth, a little dirty, the color was a light brown.
"Yes, i'm fine. Thanks to you and your friend" I replied giving her a smile.
"You're welcome. Be careful next time. That dog bullies everyone, especially the females."
"Is this the first time this happens?" I asked.
"No, many dogs have been mistreated by him. You were lucky he did that to you in public. If he caught you when no one could see you, you were done for." I swallowed when he said those things to me. How could a dog do certain things.
"What's your name?" The dog asked at me.
"Fanny. Yours?" I chose not to tell him my real name because he could recognize me. I had to follow the plan and find Chase.
"My name is Liberty, glad to meet you." We squeezed the paw as the police dog approached.
"Who is the new dog? The police dog asked.
The two looked at me and waited for an answer from me.
"My name is Fanny, I am a Cockapoo" I said very quickly.
"Nice to meet you. My name is Chase, I'm a German Shepard" He said smiling at me.
I couldn't believe I found Chase. Let me explain better, I was happy to see him again after years but I didn't expect to find him so easily.
Chase had grown up, was taller and more robust, had grown into an adult dog.
Before I could finish my next question a bell rang, it was so loud, it could make you deaf if you were near them.
"We have to go, follow us." Liberty said.
