Chapter 26

Ryder P.O.V.

It was morning and I was sleeping, last night had been very useful for Arzio and Fiez. Today they will explain their plan to save us and perhaps save this planet. Last night Arzio was too tired to explain it to us and so we went to sleep without any explanation.

I was awakened by a strong scent of coffee from the kitchen. I decided to get up, dressed in a white shirt, gray pants and put on my shoes.
I brushed my teeth, washed my face and went to the kitchen to have breakfast.

When I arrived in the kitchen there was no one apart Fiez, who was listening the news at the radio while he sipped his coffee. 

"Goodmorning Ryder, you want eat the breakfast?" He asked me.

I answered yes, I was dying of hunger, I hadn't eaten much last night because I felt bad for him and for Arzio, indeed they all were.

While he was preparing my breakfast we started talking in a low voice so as not to wake the others, I asked him about the plan but he told me that Arzio would explain it to me.
So I had to ask myself what to do today. I thought a more general question could lead to more information.

"Today will be the day of preparation, the final battle is about to begin and you must be ready." He explainde.

"Ready for what?" I asked confused and afraid of what he might tell me.

"For the last battle." He repeated.

Fiez finished making my breakfast and put it on a plate and gave it to me.On the plate was a fried egg and pancakes with maple syrup. All accompanied with a cup of hot milk.

I started eating while Jake, Iris and the others started waking up. Fiez began to prepare breakfast for everyone. When I finished breakfast, I put some croquettes in my dog's bowls.

"Thanks Ryder." All dogs said. And they began to eat, especially Rubble.

"Our head of state Humdinger has ordered that all rebel movements that have formed in the major cities of Xonia be repressed. In fact, these rebel groups are very dangerous, they threaten people, destroy buildings and hate our magnificent Pacific and Democratic state." The radio said.

"Are you kidding me?" Arzio said. "Pacific and Democratic state" Arzio said in a sarcastic tone.
"Why people don't understand that they are living under a dictatorship where opposition is forbidden, where voting is a cheat, where an incompetent person rules a suffering planet."

"Because they are brainwashed through propaganda, television and radio. This is how a dictatorship is created." Fiez said.

"Does your plan can change things?" Jake asked.

"I hope so." Fiez said.

When everyone was done with breakfast, Fiez asked us to move to the living room where there was much more space. He also asked us to sit down and listen.

"Okay team this is the plan." Arzio said.

"During the night Jarvis checked all cameras, databases and more to look for information on your friends and on a machine capable of teleporting the planets.
About your friends so that they have been captured and taken to a place, maybe the place where this machinery is.
The machine and maybe your friends, according to the database information because there are no pictures or maps showing this building, is in a place called Dino Wilds, but we don't know how to get there yet.
But one thing is certain, there will be armed resistance and therefore we must train you in the use of weapons and tactics. If there is someone who already has military training, raise your hand or paw."
