Lily's P.O.V.
Chapter 3.
"Lily! Hurry up we'll be late!" Alexis yells and I groan in annoyance. I grab my other boot and slip it on. I hop over to the small kitchen, my wet hair dripping all over the place leaving small water droplets on the dorm floor, as I tied up my brown combat boots. Alexis rolled her eyes as I started to spread the cream cheese on the fresh bagel's that Mike had dropped off this morning, the lucky bastard didn't have classes until tomorrow. As I continue to make my quick breakfast, Alexis bends down to tie my second combat boot. I smile gratefully at her as she hands me a hair tie. I smile as I dry my hair once more before running a bit of moose through my hair.
"Lily." Alexis groans as I place the bagel in mouth, grab my bag and keys and walk to the door. Alexis locks the door and we make our way to the Humanities building, trying to reach the Sociology class before it started.
"You just had to stay up last night." Alexis groans causing me to chuckle and jog down the stairs of the dorm building.
"It was Spider-Man, you know I can't hide my inner comic geek." I state receiving an eye roll from her. We push past the main doors and start to speed walk to the Humanities building.
"It was the old Spider-Man, not even the new one with Andrew Garfield." She says and I scoff.
"The story line is better." I state and she rolls her eyes at me.
"This one followed the comic book." She says and I laugh.
"Depending on the comic book." I state as she sighs. I take another bite of my bagel before handing it to Alexis and running a hand through my hair before tying it into a ponytail. I glance at the phone before sighing and pinning my bangs back. That's as good as it was going to get.
"Do you think he's a good teacher?" Alexis asks and I shrug then swallow my food.
"Hopefully, I really don't want to deal with any bad teachers." I muse before taking another bite of the bagel. Five minutes later we had arrived at the classroom and thankfully on time. I look around the large classroom before my eyes land on a familiar brunette. He motions me over as I glance at Alexis with a smile.
"I found Ben." I state and she nods. We head to him and he moves his bag to let us sit next to him.
"Thank God, you're here. I thought I was going to be lonely." He says with a frown causing me to chuckle.
"I'd never leave you alone." I mutter receiving a chuckle from him before he glances at Alexis.
"Alexandra." He states formerly. She nod in acknowledgement before taking out a notebook and pen. The pair had never really got along, they didn't hate each other, though both tried to ignore each other as much as possible. Which was probably for the best of both of them.
The door opens and in walks an older looking man. The class straightened up telling me that the man who had walked in was the professor. He looked to be in his late thirties, with thinning hair and a few gray hairs. He clears his throat and smiles broadly.
"Hello class, my name is Mr. Foster. Now, I know you're all expecting this class to be hard and boring. It's not, it's easy, fun and yes we do have an optional class trip at the end of the semester." He says and I sigh in relief. Thank God, I didn't want to start off my day with a horrible class.
"But, we do have an assignment today." He says making me groan silently along with the rest of the class. He opens his mouth to speak though is cut of when the classroom door opens. Everyone's eyes snap towards the door as a familiar face walks in.
