Lily's P.O.V.
Chapter 22.
"Holy..." I let out a groan and roll over, burring my face in to the soft pillow. An unfamiliar scent hits my nose, I take a sniff and groan.
"Please don't tell me I slept with someone again." I mutter lowly.
"Oh I sure hope not." A voice snaps. I freeze, blood running cold as I hear the familiar voice.
"Because you're sleeping in my bed and I really hope you didn't bring some random guy in to my room." Hunter states.
"What the hell happened last night?" I ask lowly before turning over and sitting up.
"Don't know, I just got a late call from your friend saying you were hammered." Hunter mumbles. I groan as he laughs before handing over a water bottle and a few pills.
"Food will be ready in a bit." He states before turning to leave.
"Thanks, and next time please don't change my clothes for me." I muse. He smirks but stays quiet and leaves the room as I roll my eyes and down the two pills.
I stand up and stretch, before running my hands through my hair and pulling it in to a ponytail. I pick up my discarded dress and pick up my shoes before looking for my phone. I frown as I look around the room, groaning when I don't find my phone before heading out to face Hunter.
"Have you seen my phone? I don't see it." I ask as I step into the living room, stopping in my tracks when I find Logan. He looks me over before looking at Hunter and then back at me.
"Hunter." My brother growls lowly as he snaps his eyes to him.
"Explain. Now." My brother snaps as I sigh and put my things down.
"Calm down, nothing happened." I state. Well not today anyway, but my brother didn't know that.
"Then explain why you're wearing his clothes and just walked out of his fucking room!" Logan exclaims loudly.
"She needed help last night alright Logan, I brought her back here because it was late." Hunter explains.
"Then why was she in your room?" Logan asks Hunter.
"He slept on the couch." I cut in. Logan turns to me then back to his best friend.
"Alright." Logan mutters causing Hunter to sigh in relief.
"Now what the hell is your problem!" Logan snaps as he turns my way. I jump at the sound of his voice before he takes a step closer to me.
"You move out of your dorm and stop talking to me? For what Lily? Huh, just to stay away from me? Just to avoid me?" Logan yells.
"Answer me!" My brother yells as he moved closer.
"Alright why don't we take a breather huh?" Hunter asks before he takes a step in between us, pushing me back and away from my angry brother.
"No, she needs to explain to me." Logan snaps while narrowing his eyes on me.
"I don't need to explain anything to you." I state as Hunter sighs.
"Guys, breather remember?" Hunter asks.
"Stay out of this!" Logan and I snap before Logan pushes him out of the way. Hunter groans as Logan glares at me.
"Why can't you talk to me Lil? I just want to know why you keep pushing me out." Logan states.
"It's hard to let you in when you bet on me, who knows if you'll do it again." I muse.
"Can you just let that go!" My brother exclaims.
"Not anytime soon Lo." I mutter.
"Alright I know I messed up but that gives you no right to act like this Lily, it gives you no right to push me away." Logan states.
"You've said this before Logan, but let me just remind you that you are the last person I'd call if I needed help." I snap. His face falls briefly before he glares at me.
"Like I said Lil, it doesn't give you the right to be a bitch, or to be a whore." He states. Before I could stop myself I had reached out and slapped him. My palm stung as his head whipped to the side, the apartment going quiet.
"Fuck you Logan." I growl lowly before grabbing my things and heading to the door.
"Lily." Hunter calls before gripping my wrist. I pull away from him and open the door not bothering to look at Hunter. I can hear them argue as I rush down the hallway, trying to get as far from my brother as possible.
"Lily? Hey wait up." A familiar accented voice calls. I stop and turn, watching silently as Chase runs my way.
"You okay?" He asks as he approaches me.
"I'm okay." I muse causing him to frown.
"I just need to go home." I state as he nods.
"I'll walk you to your car." He says with a small smile. I nod before remembering how'd I got here.
"Crap, I don't have my car.: I mumble. He raises a brow but simply holds up his keys and smiles.
"I'll take you." Chase states causing me to quickly shake my head.
"It's okay, I can call Alexis or Ben." I muse.
"No, it's okay. I can take you." Chase mutters.
"You sure?" I ask as he nods.
"Positive." He replies before motioning me to follow him. We get in to his car and I tell him the directions to the house.
"Out of the dorms I see." Chase mused as he turned left.
"Yeah, Mike lives with us now so..." I trail off as he nods.
"Your brother was looking for you the other day." He states casually.
"Yeah, he doesn't know the new address. Turn right on this next street." I mutter pointing at the next street.
"Figured, I'll keep it to myself don't worry." Chase states with a grin. I smile back before pointing at the next street.
"Left." I tell him when to stop and smile at him.
"Thanks." I muse as he nods.
"No problem, I'll see you tomorrow?" He asks as I take off my seat belt and open the door.
"I'll be the one stamping the books." I muse as he chuckles. I smile once more and exit the car, closing the door behind me softly before heading to the door.
"I was waiting for you to call." Alexis mutters as I enter the house.
"I was about to, I found Chase in the hall before I got the chance." I state.
"The doctor?" She asks as I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, I found him after I left Logan apartment mad as hell." I answer.
"Mad? Why?" Alexis asks raising a brow.
"He called me a whore." I spit out through gritted teeth.
"Hunter?"
"Logan."
"The fucking dick." She mutters lowly in disbelief. I laugh before running a hand through my hair.
"Yeah."
"I'm going to take a shower, I smell like alcohol." I tell her.
"Alright, who's clothes are you wearing anyway?" She asks.
"Hunters, long story." I mumble before heading upstairs to take a shower.
