Hunter's P.O.V
Chapter 19.

"Sorry boys, those two girls moved out of that dorm last Sunday." The lady states with a sad smile.

"Did they leave an address?" Logan asks as the lady shakes her head and straightens out her stack of papers.

"Sorry, you can always try the registration office or you know calling her." The lady says before disappearing behind the desk to a room in the back.

Logan groans as we turn to leave the dorm room office.

"Now what?" He asks as I shrug.

"We've called and we've tried finding her, so far it's not working." I muse as he sighs. He looks around the courtyard before smiling brightly.

"Ben!" He yells out loudly causing many people to turn. I groan as Logan rushes over towards the blonde before following in tow, at a much slower rate.

"Oh, hey Logan how you been?" Ben asks casually, glancing at me quickly before looking back at Logan.

"Good, good, have you by any chance seen my sister?" Logan asks as Ben shrugs.

"I saw her in class earlier." Ben mutters while I stay silent.

"Do you know where I can find her?" Logan asks as Ben sigh.

"Library maybe? Have you checked her dorm?" He asks as I scoff.

"Of course we did we're not idiots." I mumble causing them both to glance at me quickly before going back to ignoring me.

"She's apparently moved." Logan tells Ben as I sigh and turn around only to meet eyes with Heather.

She stood with Jen, a coworker of hers, with her books in hand. Her eyes stay locked with mine, filled with a sadness I wish I hadn't put there but she soon looks away causing me to follow suit.

"Well call me if you see her, and please let her know I need to talk to her." Logan says before he walks away. I however stay put, wanting to talk to him quickly.

"You love her don't you?" I ask Ben who raises a brow before sighing.

"Don't we both." He mutters while I stay silent causing him to stand straight.

"I don't know if you truly plan on winning her back, but know that if you hurt her in any way, I'll hurt you." Ben states lowly as I roll my eyes.

"I don't plan on hurting her, but I do plan on getting her back." I tell the blonde who chuckles.

"Well good luck, just remember she's not a prize." Ben mused before walking away. I take in his words before heading to Logan who was putting away his phone.

"She's not answering, I'm heading to the library to see if she's there." Logan says as I nod.

"I'll go home then, I doubt that Chase would want to see me." I mumble knowing the guy had came back for his week long vacation yesterday.

I head to my car and drive to our shared apartment. Arriving thirty minutes later and heading upstairs in silence, stopping in my tracks when I spot the familiar brunette leaning against the doorframe.

"Lily?" I ask causing her to look up, she stands straighter as I head towards her.

"Hey." She mutters as I raise a brow at her and pull out my keys.

"You okay?" I find myself asking her, she nods and clears her throat.

"Logan's been calling, I stopped by to see why." Lily mused as I nod and motion for her to go inside.

"He's not here." I state simply as she enters the apartment with me in tow. I close the door and lock it as she sets her bag down on the kitchen island.

We stay silent, both of us quiet not meeting each other's eyes as we stand in silence.

"You really did break up with her huh?" Lily asks causing my eyes to snap up, meeting her amazing grey ones.

"I meant what I said Lil." I mutter, answering her question as she sighs and heads around the island in to the kitchen. She pulls a bag out of her purse, before opening it up and pulling out a glass Pyrex filled with food.

"Lasagna, I would of brought salad but I couldn't find the other bowl." Lily says as I smile at her.

"Thank you." I mutter as she bites her lip and nods, glancing at the counter in front of her.

I knew she was deep in thought, she had the familiar look on her face that she had when she worked on her science homework or when she tried to learn a new song on her violin.

I walk around the counter and join her, turning her around so our eyes were locked on each other's.

"Tell me what you're thinking about." I whisper as she swallows.

"You. If what you say is true, if you really want me, if you ever actually did." She mutters as I frown at her.

"I realized I liked you when I started highschool, everyone else would fawn over all the seniors but my mind always stayed on you. Even when the older girls would throw themselves at me, my mind stayed on you." I tell her as she looks away from me. She stays quiet as I sigh, and slowly tilt her head back up so she'd look me in the eye.

"Just give me a chance Lil, please." I mumble as I search her eyes, hoping I'd see any sign of acceptance.

"I don't know if I could trust you." She whispers lowly as I stay silent. I watch as she bites on her lip, a sure sign she was nervous.

I lean closer to her, close enough to feel her breath on my lips and when I'm about to connect our lips, I hear a loud knock on the door, followed by the doorknob shaking.

Lily pushes me away from her and in a few seconds was standing next to the kitchen table looking me in the eyes with an uncertain look. Our eyes stay connected as I mentally curse the person behind the door while I keep my hands on the counter, trying to keep myself from reaching out and grabbing her.

"Lily?" Logan questions causing me to look up at my best friend who's brows furrow as he looks in between the two of us.

"What are you doing here?" He asks as he closes the door.

"You've been calling me." She answers calmly.

"And you've been avoiding me, even moved to do so." Logan states as she sighs.

"It was cheaper, now why'd you call?" Lily asks her brother who nods.

"Our parents have decided to plan a family reunion this winter, they called ahead so we could clear our schedules. " Logan tells his sister who sighs.

"I'm guessing there's no way out of this." She mutters as he shakes his head.

"You can carpool with Hunter and I." Logan tells her as she glances at me.

"Then I'll bring Alexis and Ben." Lily states and at the mention of his name, I clenched my hands around the counter in anger while Logan sighs.

"I'm only bringing Hunter."

"Well you get along with Ben, he'll be both of our guest."

"Alexis and Ben don't get along."

"Then Mike can come along." Lily argues.

"And you'll have three guest while I have one. " Logan states.

"We can share Ben and Mike, problem solved." Lily mused before grabbing her bag.

"I left food, and I'll call you later to make plans, we can take my Rogue." Lily states before walking past him and leaving.

"This will be an interesting vacation." I mumble as he nods, though my mind wondered what would of happened if Logan never showed up.
