Chapter 27: Truth and Conversations.

Lily's P.O.V.

Chapter 27.

"Where were you Lily?" Logan repeats as I swallow down the knot in my throat.

"It doesn't matter." I mutter as he scoffs.

"Bullshit." He snaps.

"It was over two years ago Lo, let it go." I snap as I try and walk past him only to be shoved back.

"Watch it." Levi interjects as he steadies me though Logan ignores him as his eyes narrow on me.

"Three days Lil, three days that I have no clue where you were at, now tell me where you were for the love of God." Logan all but begs as I clench my jaw and look away from him.

"Logan it doesn't matter anymore." I state lowly, helplessly, wanting nothing more than for him to drop the subject.

"Like hell it does."

"Why should it! I'm here now aren't I." I snap at him as I glare at him.

"Now drop the fucking subject Logan." I growl as his nose flares before he moves, grabbing my arm and pulling me into him roughly. 

"Where the hell were you!" He snaps at me with a glare as I swallow dryly.

"That's enough." Levi snaps as he pulls me back from my brother, pushing me behind me in a quick motion.

"She doesn't have to tell you shit Logan." Levi snaps at him as he stands in front of me.

"Oh come on, stop trying to protect her Levi." Logan groans as Logan and him begin to argue. I stay behind Levi the whole time, pinching the bridge of my nose before I look up, meeting eyes with Ben who sent me a worried look, one I recognized wasn't for himself but for me.

"You stayed with Ben." Hunter's voice cuts through the room, silencing everyone and causing us all to turn his way.

My eyes widen a fraction as he laughs, a short bitter laugh before speaking.

"So you run to Ben after running to your cousin, nice Lily." Hunter states as Logan turns towards Ben before looking back my way. 

The room is quiet, too quiet, enough that I could hear the music playing from upstairs.

"Is it true?" Logan asks me before looking at Ben, anger clear on his face.

"Is it true!" He exclaims as Ben sighs, silently answering his question.

"Son of a bi-" He moves before he finishes but never touches Ben, Mike and Levi pulling him back as Ben's jaw locks.

"What'd you sleep with her too?" Logan snaps and the room tenses, Logan's jaw locks as his eyes narrow on Ben before snapping my way.

"What? Couldn't get one so you went with another?" He asks. Ben moves next, shoulders tensing as he takes a small step forward and I quickly cross the room pushing him back in the process, ignoring the look Logan sent me as I push Ben back a few steps.

"Ignore him." I mumble lowly, Ben's jaw locks as his hands drop to my waist, eyes narrowed on my brother in a daring way. I swallow down the knot in my throat and turn around in his arms.

"You don't get to judge, you don't get to be angry, you don't get to intervene, you just have to deal with it Logan because what I do with my life is my decision and fuck you for thinking otherwise." I snap at him. He glares at me and I glare back before turning around, pushing Ben softly.
