Chapter 20: The Nondate.

Lily's P.O.V.
Chapter 20.

I was dreading the family trip, from the second I found out about the whole fiasco I was counting down the days to my own personal hell. A week long trip with my over observing family? Not fun.

Luckily I have another month and a half to prepare for the torture of my family reunion. I was savoring each day and enjoying every second I was away from my family. Even if it meant endless amounts of homework and projects.

"Is that a B?"

"Stop copying my work Lily!" Ben exclaims as I laugh. He rolls his eyes before continuing his work and I follow suit, often glancing over to his page when I got stuck.

"Alright that's it." He snaps before I'm suddenly thrown over his shoulder.

"Ben!" I exclaim loudly though can't help the laugh that escaped my lips. He drops me on the couch and straddles me. Keeping most of his weight off me yet still keeping a bit of pressure on my hips so I couldn't escape.

"Get off you fatass!" I shout as he raises a brow before raising his shirt slightly.

"Does this look like fat babe?" He asks as I roll my eyes.

"I can see your belly roles." I muse as he laughs.

"Babe they're called abs." Ben states with a grin as I nod with a smirk.

"And thier very sexy actually." I mumble while letting my fingers dip under his shirt. His eyes sparkle with mischief before he pulls his shirt up and over his body before he presses his lips against mine.

I smile before wrapping one hand around his neck to pull him closer while I trail my other hand over his firm chest. His lips move against mine firmly as I lift my legs up and around his waist

He smirks as his hand wraps around my waist and pulls me closer to him while I continue to kiss him firmly.

"Oh gross, guys please stop. I don't need you to christen our new couch!" Alexis snaps causing us to pull apart.

"Like you two haven't already broke it in." I state causing Ben to laugh as he pulls away. Alexis blushes as Mike rolls his eyes.

I unwrap my legs from Ben's waist and push him off of me before sitting back up.

"Shut up." My best friend snaps while dropping her bag on the table.

"You know it's true, you two can get loud, I swear you guys forget you have a roommate." I mumble as Mike's cheeks tint red. I smirk while Ben rolls his eyes.

"I should go, God knows we won't get much work done if I stay." He states before standing up. I nod in agreement as he kisses my cheek quickly before grabbing his things and heading to the door.

"Bye!" He calls as he opens the door.

"Bye Ben!" I muse while Mike and Alexis both mumble a goodbye.

We stay quiet for a few seconds until Alexis sighs.

"Should I get used to this, or is this temporary?" She asks me as I chuck a pillow her way. She catches it and groans.

"I'm being serious Lil, I need to know these things! BFF privileges remember?" She states as she heads towards me and drops the pillow on the couch before sitting down on the coffee table across from me.

"Look I don't know if this is serious or not." I mutter before sighing.

"And I think I need a break, I'll be back soon." I state as I stand up and head to the dinning table. I grab my car keys and my bag and head out.

I head to a nearby dinner, wanting to grab a bite of food. The place was almost empty, only three small tables were occupied besides mine.

"I'll just take a vanilla milkshake and a chicken strawberry salad." I state to the waitress who nods.

"And I'll take a classic burger and a coke." A deep voice states causing me to look up in shock. Hunter slid in to the booth with a smirk playing on his lips. I stay quiet in shock as the waitress nods and walks away.

"What are you doing?" I ask lowly as he chuckles.

"Eating, if you don't mind."

"I do mind, how the hell did you find me?" I ask him as he smirks and leans forward.

"Coincidence actually, I just showed up to eat." He states before leaning back.

"And I just happened to bump in to you gorgeous." He mused as I roll my eyes.

"You're crazy." I state as he smiles.

"Crazy for you." He states with a cheeky grin as the waitress puts the two drinks down on the table.

"The food will be out in five." She states before walking away.

"Why'd you join me?" I ask him.

"I like to think of this as our first date." Hunter says as I roll my eyes.

"This isn't a date. First of all I would never go out with you and second of all, you never asked." I snap at him as he raises a brow.

"Are you saying you'd go out with me if I asked?" He asks me with a smile.

"Did you not hear my first reason Graham?" I ask him as he chuckles.

"One day you'll agree." He mused.

"Yeah, when hell freezes over." I growl lowly at him.

"There's a town named Hell in Michigain which freezes over every year." He states as I groan and drop my head on to the table.

"I believe it should be frozen over by now." He mutters causing me to groan. I meet eyes with him as he smirks.

"You're a lot more annoying then I remember you to be." I snap at him as the waitress comes back, setting down both of our plates.

"And you're a lot prettier then I remember." He states before picking up his burger. I roll my eyes and pick up my fork before stabbing it in to my salad.

"So why are you taking Ben and Alexis with you to the trip?" Hunter asks me a few seconds later. I glance up at him before sighing.

"Mike's going too, and it's all in an effort to avoid Logan and you." I state causing his brows to furrow.

"Why?" He asks simply.

"Because you two bet on my life like it was some sort of game." I state as he looks at me with sadness in his eyes.

"I told you already that it wasn't like that." He mused lowly as I laugh.

"It doesn't matter anymore Hunter, what's done is done and you can't change it." I state bitterly as he sighs.

"I can try." He mutters as I sigh. I stand up and prepare to leave when his hand shots out to stop me. I meet his eyes as he sighs.

"I won't bring it up again." He mused causing me to sit back done. We finish our meal in silence before parting ways, Hunter making sure I knew he'd gain my forgiveness before he left.
