Lily's P.O.V.
Chapter 7."Where were you?" I hear Alexis ask as I look up. I close the door behind me and run a hand through my hair.
"A friends house." I answer lamely as she raises a brow.
"A good one at that." I hear Mike say as I turn and find him sprawled on the couch in only his boxers once again.
"Don't encourage her!" Alexis scolds as I raise a brow at her which she ignores.
"She's eighteen, not two." Mike mumbles as he changes the channel on the TV. I roll my eyes and lock the door.
"I'll be in the shower." I muse as I slip past Alexis and go to grab some clothes from my room.
"Who do you think she was with?" I hear Alexis ask her boyfriend who sighs.
"Whoever it was, it's not our business." He states as I smile. There's a reason I liked Mike. He stayed out of people's business, unlike his girlfriend who meddled as a hobby.
I take a quick shower, washing away the sweat and grind from the night before. When I finish I quickly change in to some leggings and a oversized Pink sweatshirt.
"What we watching?" I ask the couple who were cuddled up on the sofa.
"Grease." Alexis states happily. I laugh lightly. I fall in to the other couch and focus on the movie.
"By the way, I'm going to need a ride to the next soccer game." I tell Alexis who raises a brow.
"Your going?" She asks in clear shock as I nod.
"Logan asked me to go, I felt bad saying no." I mutter as she chuckled slightly.
"Well I can't go, sorry hun." Alexis says with a frown as I groan.
"But I can, so if you need a ride I'm here." Mike states as I smile brightly.
"You're the best Mike." I muse as he smiles smugly.
"I know." He states arrogantly as I throw a pillow his way which he successfully smacks away with his free hand before hugging his girlfriend tightly. I smile before focusing on the movie once more.
Days pass before it's finally time for Logan's soccer game. It was Tuesday, the longest day of my week. Math from 8:30 to 10:15, Spanish from 12 to 1:55, my Bio lab from 2:15 to 3:45 and then work until 6:30 at the bookstore where I filled back invoices and arranged receipts. Luckily my Wednesday was class free and work started at 10.
With a sigh I enter the dorm and smile at Mike who sat on the couch waiting patiently.
"Let me just change and empty my bladder." I state as he nods once. I smile at him before rushing to the restroom. I empty my bladder, wash my hands and then quickly wash my face trying to wake myself up from the long day. I quickly go change. Trading my skinny jeans and v neck for a pair of shorts and one of Logan's old soccer jerseys that he had left behind when he came to college. I slip on some shoes and rush in to the living room, grabbing my bag as I do.
"You good?" Mike asks with a brow raised as he stares at his phone.
"Yup, let's go." I muse as he nods and stands, his eyes widening slightly when he see's the jersey.
"I thought you would of burned that." He mumbles as I chuckle and shake my head.
"I'm not that mean." I mumble as he raises a brow. I smirk and open the door, walking out of the dorm with Mike behind me.
"What you do?" He asks me as I smile.
"Me, nothing." I state before locking the door. We head to Mike's car and start the half hour drive to the school's soccer field.
