Chapter 6.

"First weekend of school and we already have an essay due." Alexis complains with a groan as she sits on the couch legs crossed and types on her laptop.

"It's college what did you expect parties and bonfires?" I ask sarcastically before taking a drink from my water bottle.

"Well kinda." She mumbles as I roll my eyes.

"Well sorry hun this is real life not some sort of movie." I muse as she frowns.

"Or some book." Mike mutters as I glance at him. He lays on the floor in his boxers with a book hovering over his face.

"When do you have to finish that by?" I ask curiously glancing at the five hundred page monster he held.

"The report is due next Monday." He mumbles before trying to turn the page.

"Good luck with that." Alexis mutters dryly.

"Well aren't you just the most supportive girlfriend." I mumble sarcastically as she rolls her eyes.

"What? He has a little over a week to read that thing!" Alexis exclaims pointing at the large book. It was Saturday, meaning he had nine days to read the book and finish the book report.

"But he's a smart ass, he can probably finish in by Friday." I muse.

"I might if you two shut up." Mikr mutters darkly as I laugh slightly before focusing my attention on the essay I was writing. I zone off and continue to write before a loud knock on the door cause us all to groan.

"That's it, I'll be in my dorm." Mike mutters as he gets up the floor and heads to the door.

"You're still in your boxers!" Alexis calls after him with a laugh.

"I don't care!" He shouts as he opens the door and reveals my brother. Logan raises a brow at Mike who simply mutters something under his breath before sighing.

"Logan." He greets before stepping around him and leaving, looking like a guy who had a horrible one night stand and was barely getting back home at 1 p.m.

"Do I want to know?" He asks us as I shrug.

"Not like I would of told you anyway." I mutter as Alexis sighs.

"I think I might go join him." She says as she grabs her laptop, unplugs it from the wall and grabs all her things before walking out of the dorm barefoot and chasing down her boyfriend, luckily his dorm was down the hall. With a sigh I sit up and place my laptop on the coffee table and close it before glancing at Logan who had entered the dorm and closed the door.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him as I stare at him.

"Checking up, came to see how you were settling." He says as I nod.

"I'm fine Logan, you don't have to check on me every week." I mutter as he nods once in understanding before we stay in silence. I pinch the bridge of my nose and sigh before standing.

"You hungry? I need food if I want to finish this essay." I mutter as Logan nods quickly looking shocked.

"Let me change quickly." I mutter as he nods. I head to my room and switch out my sweat pants and thank top for some skinny jeans and a long sleeved blue shirt. I tie up my combat boots and grab my bag before heading back to Logan.

"Where to?" He asks with a raised brow as I shrug.

"Um, anywhere? I've been eating pizza and McDonald's the last week." I muse as he nods.
