Chapter 16: Confusion.

Lily's P.O.V.
Chapter 16.

"I think she may be going crazy." I vaguely hear Alexis's state as I stare blankly at the wall in front of me.

"I think she always has been." I hear Mike state as I grab the nearest object and hurl it at him.

"Ow, that hurt." He whines as I groan.

"Alright Mike, I think you should go get food while I deal with Lily." Alexis says as I hear Mike agree before the door closes and Alexis joins me on the couch.

"What's up?" She asks me as I sigh.

"Hunter showed up yesterday." I mumble as she raises a brow.

"And?" She asks in confusion as I sigh.

"He kissed me." I confess to her as her eyes widen in shock before she runs a hand through her hair.

"Why?" She asks as I shrug.

"Like I'm supposed to know, he barged in here, walked straight to my room then kissed me before claiming he'd win me back." I tell my best friend who's brows furrow as she stares at me.

"What is this poker? You're not some trophy!" She exclaims as I groan and drop my head in to my hands.

"I think I enjoyed it." I mumble lowly before looking up to meet her eyes. One eye was twitching slightly and she looked ready to strangle me.

"What is wrong with you!" She all but yells.

"Apparently I'm crazy." I mutter as she sighs.

"Alexis I would of slept with him if I hadn't pushed him away." I confess as she sighs.

"So you like him?" My best friend asks as I groan.

"I don't know, maybe, it's probably just physical. I'm probably just attracted to him." I mumble as she raises a brow.

"He's not ugly Alexis." I mutter as she frowns just as the door opens and Mike comes back with two bags of food in hand.

"Got you girls some food from that Hawaiian place." He says setting the bag down as I smile gratefully at him.

"Oh and your brothers on his way up with Hunter." Mike mused as he takes the food out. I glance at Alexis wide eyed as she looks at me in shock.

"Go before they get here." She whispers as I quickly slip on shoes before I try to leave. I open the door ready to escape to Ben's room only to find both my brother and Hunter standing there, Logan with his hand up ready to knock.

"It's a good thing we caught you before you left." Logan says while Hunter simply raises a brow, an amused look on his face.

"Yeah great." I mumble as I hear my best friend chuckle slightly.

"What do you two want?" I ask in annoyance, hoping they'd leave.

"To talk." Logan mumbled as Hunter nods.

"We don't have to talk about anything, and I don't have to talk to you." I state as my older brother frowns.

"Lily, please just hear me out." He all but begs as I chuckle and raise a brow.

"You dated her because of the bet, then you fell for her. I'm guessing she figured out she was part of a bet and was smart enough to end it." I state as he sighs.

"She doesn't know. Can you let me talk?" My brother asks in annoyance as I raise a brow.

"Can you leave me alone?" I ask him as his brows furrow in confusion.

"What type of question is that? Of course not." Logan states as I smirk.

"There's your answer." I muse before trying to close the door only to be stopped when the door opens. Hunter stands with an amused look on his face as my brother frowns from behind him.

"Nice try sweetheart." Hunter mutters with a smile before they walk into the apartment. My eyes meet Alexis, silently begging for her help as she shrugs. I glare at her and head to my brother, narrowing my eyes on him.

"You went out with the girl who's number you won from the bet, do you know how much it hurts to know that?" I ask my brother who tries talking only to be stopped by Alexis.

"You dated her? What type of bullshit is that?" She asks angrily as Logan sighs.

"Alexis please just let me talk to her." Logan sighs as Mike groans.

"Look I met Lily after that bullshit went down which you guys should be grateful for, I try not to get involved but even I know that's low." Mike states before grabbing his coat.

"Come on babe, let's go." He mutters before pulling a reluctant Alexis out of the dorm room and leaving me alone with both my brother and Hunter.

We all stay quiet, awkwardly quiet as I stare at the floor.

"You're messing up Lil, this isn't you." Logan says softly causing me to look up at him in shock.

"How the hell do you know who 'I' am?" I ask him angrily only to be ignored by him completely.

"You drink, you stay out all the time, your never home, you hardly sleep here, your never in class, you quit your job, you sleep around... Lily this isn't you." Logan says as I glare at him and stand up.

"Firstly I got relocated, I'm now stacking books in the school library, second of all my grades are still doing good and lastly I can sleep with whoever the hell I want Logan." I snap at him as his eyes narrow on me.

"I won't let you spiral out of control Lil, I won't watch it." He says.

"Then don't." I mumble as he stares at me. He chuckles dryly before standing up.

"Fine, but don't come to me when someone screws you over." Logan mused as I laugh.

"Like you two did, don't worry Lo, I found out who I can run to when I need help." I tell him which causes his brows to furrow as Hunter frowned.

"Now I think it's about time you guys left." I mumble after a few seconds of silence. Logan clears his throat but heads to the door while Hunter stays in front of me with his arms crossed.

"I know you don't like him but I'd still hear him out." He mutters as I roll my eyes. He turns around before stopping and glancing back at me.

"By the way, I broke up with her. I fully plan on winning you back Lily." Hunter states before he leaves, closing the door behind him as he did leaving me alone to wallow in my thoughts.
