Here we go.

"Is it cool if we come in?" I asked. I wanted to be calm as possible. I didn't want to upset or set him off. My brother has a very short temper.
"We? I knew you had the entourage with you..." He shook his head. "I mean, doesn't seem like you're going to leave. I guess they can come in."
I motioned to Rae, Leo and Matteo. They came over to the door and into Damiano's view.
"Ah, Leo and Matteo. It's good to see you." He actually sounded sincere.
"You as well." Leo replied. Matteo waved at him. He turned his sights to Rae.
"This is-."
"I know...who she is." He smiled and held out his hand for her to shake. "A pleasure to meet you, Rae Lyon." Is this Damiano? This man was just mad at me 5 minutes ago. Everyone got a warmer welcome than I did. She shook his hand with a surprised look.
"Good to meet you. How do you know me?"
"Well, besides you being on the commission." He started, "I just kept up with the scuffles you've had over the past years. Your operations are counted and carefully calculated. You have any officers helping you?" He asked, curiously.
"No, I don't have any right hand people to consult with. It is only me..." She furrowed her eyebrows.
"Brilliant." Damiano had this look of admiration in his face. He also didn't let her hand go. I pulled Rae back a bit and stepped in between them.
"Can we talk now?" I tried to move things along. Ain't no way he was going to hold hands with Rae in front of me. Absolutely not. He gave me a look then caught on, he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah yeah, come in." We followed behind him into his condo. I looked around and it was cozy. Reminds me how our childhood home used to be decorated.
"Take a seat wherever you'd like. I never have company, so excuse my hosting skills. Anything to drink, Scotch?" He offered. Leo raised his hand.
"Yes please." He sighed out. I gave him an odd look. Leo never really drank, the situation was taking a toll on this man. He clocked me looking at him and paid no mind to it.
Damiano brought the bottle of Scotch and put in on the coffee table.
"Brought more glasses in case anyone changed their mind." He sat down on the chair. "Well, let's not beat around the bush. You've got three more targets, yeah?"
"Someone's done their research." I said after I took a sip. He chuckled a bit while shaking his head.
"Killing Clemente and Vinci are one thing, but when I heard Scaletta had kicked the bucket. I knew you guys were not playing around. You got the mafia families scrambling. Especially, Franco, Falcone and Carlo. They are doing everything they can to stay alive."
It brought some satisfaction when he said that. I did want to make sure the message was sent. Seems like it's being received well. Gives me hope we'll actually make it out on the other side.
"Message sent." I said with smile.
"Loud and clear." Damiano replied. He was telling us more information about the toll Scaletta, Vinci and Clemente's families were taking. These were the fools already dead.
"Their families are looking for a patriarch. Trying to see who can take the throne. I do know one thing, they're not going to come after you guys. They don't want to end up like the last guy." Damiano laughed out.
