Yooooo.

Rae

"So he won't help us..." Leo shook his head. "I mean I guess we should've known that, right?" He said defeatedly.

"I  mean, it was still worth a try." Matteo spoke up. "At this point, we're doing all we can do. The next question is, what's the next step?"

That was a great question, I was thinking about that one too. I know the next thing at least is getting to the states, but we need a plan. We don't want to just go there with no objective.

"While we're thinking about it, let's think about this too. Why the hell do you think Donovan got booked? Let's rule some things out or something." Leo said.

It had been quiet for some moments. I'm just thinking back to the past eight months. Where along the way could've secured Donovan in jail?

"Rae, you run a crew. Do you think it was one of the families?" Leo asked.

"You know that would be the first thing I'd say. But at the same time, I don't think it's a family because they would've just dealt with him. With the right contacts, we could get anybody out of jail. So I just don't think any of the families would've thought jail as the first way of getting back at him." They both nodded at me. I haven't been in the game too long, but that just doesn't seem right to me.

"Okay, so we can rule out families. Who else?"  Yeah who else? I mean that's the only beef we could've had right? It would have to be someone who doesn't have enough power or pull to take him out, so the next best thing is getting him booked.

"Wait, those racist fucks we got into it with..." Matteo said. I pointed at him.

"Yeah, that actually makes sense. I really wouldn't be surprised if it was them. They don't have the pull to kill Donovan. They're not smart enough for that. Or that may even be a lane they don't even wanna go down. They had to get revenge in some kind of way."

"Wouldn't they want all three of us?" Leo asked.

"Of course, but Donovan was the only one there. So we may have all went down if we were there too." I stood up. "I think that's a great lead. They definitely have something to do with this. I'm sure they're best friend's with the police. Racist assholes." I crossed my arms. They don't know what they just started.

"Alright then, when do we go?" Matteo said with urgency. "We need to chop chop."

"I say we leave tonight." Leo replied. I nodded in agreement.

"Absolutely. We've still got artillery in the house. We take some men from my crew and Donovan's. Our first stop as soon as we get off that plane...Rick's." I clapped. "It's go time, let's get packed."

We dispersed to get packed for a 'trip' we didn't even know how long was going to be. I didn't think I'd be going back to the states for a while. Ever since eight months ago, the shit storm has been nonstop. Was I tired? Absolutely, but never ever am I going to leave Donovan in jail like that. Never.

In the presidential suite I barely got to enjoy, I packed up everything I had there. I didn't know when I was going to be back. I called the pilot and had her ready a jet for us. It was like 4:00 and I was ready to go.

I dialed up Matteo and Leo at the same time. We might as well just do a conference call instead of having someone relay the information.

"Rae."

"What's up, Rae?"

"I was gonna say if you guys were packed, we could leave now. No sense in waiting." We oughta get there as fast as we could. Considering we had a long ass plane ride ahead of us.
