Nagising ako sa isang familiar na kwarto. Ang kwarto ko, pagmulat ko ng mata ko ay nakita ko si Mommy, Daddy, Claire at sila Manang.
"Kamusta, anak?" bungad na tanong sa'kin ni Mommy
Anak
Ngumiti muna ako bago sumagot "Okay nanaman po ako" namamaos kong sabi
Naramdaman ko rin yung kamay ko, at doon ko lang napagtanto na naka casts pala ako.
"Gusto mo na kumain, Anak?" tanong naman sakin ni Daddy
"Sige po"
"Sige, magpahanda na ako kila Manang at sabay-sabay tayo kakain ha"
I was taken aback when Daddy said that, and even more surprised when he kissed me on the forehead before going downstairs to prepare dinner.
What the hell is happening?
Now, Daddy and Claire are sitting beside me, and Dad is next to Mom.
After so many years, this is the first time we've all been together for a meal.
"So, I heard you did a great job kanina sa laro" Sabi ni Daddy sa'kin
"Hmm, hindi naman po ganon Daddy" nahihiyang saad ko, ramdam ko ang panunuyot ng lalamunan ko.
"Anak" nagulat ako ng tawagin ako ng ganon ni Daddy
Anak? Parang ngayon ko na lang ulit narinig yon
"Bakit po, Dad?"
"Anong gagawin mo doon sa naka ano sayo" tinutukoy nya si Bella
"Hmm, maybe Dad, let's not make a big deal out of it since it was just an accident. I don't think anyone intended for this to happen," Daddy and Mommy nodded in agreement.
"Okay, dear, if that's what you want," Mommy replied with a smile.
We ate quietly until Claire noticed I was struggling a bit because my right hand was injured. And I'm right handed, too
"I'll feed you, Ate," Claire suddenly offered as she came over and sat beside me.
"Why?" I ask her.
"Kasi naman, Ate, mas madami pang makakain yung table kesa sayo," she said, pointing to the rice that had spilled on the table.
We heard Mom and Dad laughing.
"Say 'ahh', Ate"
"Pinag tritripan mo lang ako eh"
"Hindi kaya, bilis na, Ate, ahhh" I took the food Claire offered me. It felt so good to eat together with my whole family.
Saka ko na iisipin kung bakit sila nagbago, basta alam ko masaya ako. Sana lagi na kaming ganto.
"Ang ganda niyonf tignan mag kapatid" napatingin kami ng sabihin yon ni Mommy
Tahimik lang kami kumain ulit at hindi talaga ako pinabayaan ni Claire, sinubuan niya talaga ako.
I'm here now, resting in my room. Claire was hanging out here earlier, but she said she had something to do in her room and would come back later for sleep, just so I wouldn't be alone.
I was just watching Netflix when I felt my phone vibrate, and I saw Danzel was calling me.

"Hello," I greeted softly, a smile tugging at my lips.
"Hwy, pretty!"
"Stop teasing me, Danzel," I replied playfully.
