The next morning, I woke up early and noticed Claire wasn't beside me anymore. She must have gone to her own room to get ready for school. I tidied up my bed and went downstairs for breakfast. Afterward, I headed back up, took a quick shower, and got myself ready.
The school was no different. It was all about lessons, recitations, seatwork, and more. Now, we were in our final subject of the day, science.
"Good day, students. Today, we'll continue with your project," began our teacher.
"Your presentations are scheduled for next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. That means I expect all of you to be finished by the end of this weekend or by Tuesday at the latest."
"Any questions? none? alright, you may now continue working with your partners."
Pumunta ulit sa tabi ko si Luke may dala-dalang mga papel.
"Ito yung sa written work ko" sabi niya at inaabot sa'kin yung mga papel
"Tapos kana agad?" Nabigla kong tanong dahil completo na yung binigay niya sa'kin
"Oo, tinapos ko kahapon, pero icheck mo na kang kung tama, pag may mali sabihin mo na lang" sambit niya kaya tumango ako
"Paano pala natin gagawin yung vacuum?" tanong nito sa'kin
"Bukas daw hanggang tuesday pwede gumawa dito"
"So pwede na tayo mag dala ng materials bukas" dagdag ko pa
"Anong mga materials ba dadalhin?"
"Hm, plastic bottle, glue gun, cord, electric fan blower pero yung maliit lang, cloth, hose saka masking tape" sagot ko naman
"Ah, pwede sa'kin yung electric fan blower saka yung hose. Meron ata kaming ganon eh" saad naman niya
"Ay buti na lang yon kasi yon yung mahirap hanapin eh" sabi ko naman
"Saka yung plastic bottle and cloth" dagdag niya pa
"Sure ka? Pwede naman sakin na yung iba" sabi ko
"No, it's fine." Sabi niya kaya tumango na lang ako at saka ginawa ang parts ko sa project. Since malapit ko nanaman natapos, konti na lang.
Makalipas ang 40 minutes natapos ko na rin ang written work ko sa project.
"Tapos na ako" masayang kong sambit kaya napatigin si Luke sa'kin at natawa
"I guess, yung vacuum na lang talaga problema natin" sabi niya
"Yon na lang talaga" tugon ko naman
Yon na lang talaga at tapos na rin ako sa lahat ng project ko sa bawat subject!
"Class, time na" sabi naman ni Ma'am kaya naglipit na kami at lumipat na ulit ng mga upuan.
I neatly arranged all my things and checked my bag. A few minutes later, our adviser entered the classroom, signaling that we could leave.
I was the first one out, walking alongside Aiden. Our friends gathered outside the classroom since they were leaving early. Danzel and I had plans, and he texted earlier asking if I could ride with him to and from school. I told Dad not to pick me up.
