Sometimes when you're pulled out of your avatar forcefully, you go unconscious for some time. And sometimes your human body dies so you stay in your avatar. I've heard it happen to a guy named Able. Not to me unfortunately, I woke up in a cell with an IV in my arm for hydration. I ripped it out and blinked hard while looking around. There was Jake, Grace and Norm. It's good to know we're all together instead of in separate cells at least.
Trudy rolled up, greeting our warden before kicking the shit out of him and calling in Max. He got the door open with the key card around the warden's neck.
We took off, Norm and Trudy wen ahead of us to ready the Sampson.
We slipped our masks on and helped Jake into the Sampson.
Gunfire rang out as we strapped in. The rush of the ride took away from the sudden pain I was feeling until it was all too apparent.
I suddenly felt nauseous and dizzy.
"Everybody alright back there?" Trudy asked us.
"Woo! Hell yeah baby! Norm you good?" Jake asked him.
"Tch'yeah!" Norm grinned.
"Grace, Ess? You two o-" he turned to us both. My body wasn't enough of a shield to block Grace from the same bullet.
"We're... a kabob-"

I don't remember falling asleep, I must've passed out. Jake and Norm must've put us in the mobile site in our weakened state. I strained my neck to look around.Grace and I were sharing a link bed, we were facing each-other but we weren't on the same side. We were covered by one of the blankets, bandaged and everything.
"Hey Grace." I smiled. I was dizzy and loopy from the morphine and the blood loss.
"Heya kid." She answered. I peeked over my blanket at her and she did the same. We both erupted with laughter. How pathetic we are.
"This sucks." I clutched my side, the laughing further hurt the wound.
Jake came over and checked the bandages. He looked just as serious as he did when we first met.
"We're moving?" I groaned.
"Yeah. We're gonna get you guys some help."
"I'm a scientist remember? I don't believe in fairy tales." Grace got out weakly.
"The people can help you." Jake said quieter.
"Why would they help us." Grace stated frustrated. Jake was stunned.
I held my wound as the rocking of the mobile site ceased and we landed not too far from the tree of souls. I can only imagine the grieving, weakened clan, huddled together. Mourning their home and loved ones.

Looking out across the valley which his people were settling into, Tsu'tey contemplated the horrible events which lead to his leadership. How could this have happened? He recounted the moment it all began at.Sanuìti, carrying Tana'rì, while looking for Atsantu, Tana'rì's father. He heard a thud behind him and the struggling noises of the young girl Sanuì was carrying. He turned quickly to see her, sprawled out on the ground. It was uneven so she tumbled onto her side. One of her legs were tucked underneath the other, her arms were still cradling the child. He called for Ka'ani and Maru, the took their time coming.
His mind had too much time to come up with all the worst case scenarios, all the possible deaths, the injuries she may have sustained, the trouble she may be in.
When Maru and Ka'ani found him, he was at his weakest. It was quite a tragic sight. Their new Olo'eyktan holding the limp body of his old student and friend, while the young child she was carrying clung to him.
"Tsu'tey... let us take her. We are bringing Grace, if they don't wake, Mo'at will decide what is best to do." Maru said softly, compassionately.
Tsu'tey had no choice but to surrender Sanuìti to his closest friends to be carried to the tree of souls. But Tana'rì is still missing her father. No one had seen him, his body hadn't been recovered.
There's no lie he could tell the child, no truth he wanted to utter to her.
"Come, we will take care of you." He took her hand and carried her most of the way to the tree of souls. And when he had a moment to rest, he was brought before Mo'at to be anointed as the Olo'eyktan.
"Tsu'tey, will you not address your people?" The grieving Tsahik asked him.
"I have failed them, matriarch." He said sullenly.
"No Tsu'tey, there was nothing that could be done." She tried to comfort him, heal his spirit if she can.
He turned to face his people, his clan to address them, address the dark times.
"Tomorrow, we face a new world. Today we mourn the loss of our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, our children. We mourn the loss of Eytukan te Tskaha Kamun'itan. Let us sing their songs, their spirits are not lost." He helped organize the people into song, for Mo'at to lead them in prayer.
He looked out for them, analyzing the world around him for any danger. In prayer, a na'vi is vulnerable.
Panicked na'vi moved away from the great shadow that looked over the valley, pushing and pulling each other out of the way from the landing beast of fire and shadow, Toruk. It let out a trumpeting cry as it landed.
Fear put him on edge, he hadn't had time to ready a bow, no one had time to prepare. But then he spotted his rider. Jakesully? No. Toruk Makto.
He watched Neytiri greet her mate, the man she had betrayed him with. Well, as much as you can betray someone when they're also in love with someone else.
How is it that Jakesully lives where Sanuìti has fallen? Where Grace Augustine has fallen?
Tsu'tey watched him climb the steps while greeting him.
"Tsu'tey te Rongloa Ateyo'itan, I stand before you, ready to serve the Omatikaya people. You are Olo'eyktan, and you're a great warrior. I cannot do this without you.
The bonds Tsu'tey and Jake once shared. The brotherhood of the hunt, the respect they once shared... that was all gone now. He brought Toruk here, but he also brought destruction to the Omatikaya hometree. He must be desperate.
Tsu'tey weighed the options. He could turn him away, and Jake would take Toruk, Neytiri with him. They would be without future, without hope. He welcomes him back, the clan could suffer again, but they'd be protected, they would have hope.
"Toruk Makto..." Tsu'tey breathed in disbelief of himself, "I will fly with you." A weight was lifted from his chest. The hate he harbored for Jake, it wasn't so heavy. He felt a little more assured.
"My friends are dying. Grace, Ess-Sanuìti is dying." He turned to Mo'at, "I beg the help of Eywa."
