There is still time for muhrat in Anjali wedding. Arvind also met their old relatives and happily engaged in conversation with them. But his happiness isn't for much time. He learnt that his peschi had indirectly sent information in entire Krishnanagar, to all their relatives, near by villages, family friends that she is looking alliances for her granddaughters which is like a shock and bitter news for him and went in searching for her.

He already saw kalindi telling to 4-5 families that she has gathered huge amount for each daughter- nearly 2-3 lakhs, 25 acres of land and 100 tulas of gold (nearly 1 kg of gold) will be given for each daughter. She told that as her granddaughters don't have a brother and no heir to Das family so son in laws should take care of their saas sasur also. Remaining property will be alloted to their son in laws after the girls parents demise. She was announcing that I shall check conduct of each groom, kundli should be perfectly matched and then shall proceed with Ashirwad rasam.

One of the boy's family asked what exactly are you looking in your son in law. Kalindi replied that he should have respect towards elders and obey their commands, speak in low tone infront of elders, I will check if they take care of their family especially his mother, sisters well or not. Because A man who loves his mother will definitely love his wife.

Arvind immediately recollected Anirudh and a smile crept on his lips as soon as he recollects him. From day one onwards Arvind is so impressed with Anirudh.

Kalindi continued: But I don't want the groom to be adventurous, speaking against elders, and work as a freedom fighter, crazy about welfare of society, women etc..etc.( Arvind's smile is dropped.) Because the person who runs after society welfare women's welfare, criticizing society rules, customs will always face the wrath of society and if any of our daughters get married to such kind of guys then automatically my daughter future will also be in risk.

One person asked 'Then why did you agree to your granddaughter Bondita to study in city?'

Kalindi: I agreed because her father asked me for it. What to do, some social reformers are provoking the society to send their girls to school, make them educated. My nephew Arvind fell in their trap. I have seen some grooms are looking for brides who have basic knowledge on learning few words to study and write letters, to count money. Even my other granddaughters are also going to school for minimum education. Once proper alliances are found my 3 granddaughters will stop studies. Because a girl should reach her sasural as soon as possible else everyone will taunt her (She said the last sentence with pain in her eyes remembering her dark past & Arvind understood it).

She is coming from mob and Arvind called her to listen to his words. She told that my word is final and gave smirk to Arvind. He understood that she is giving her ultimatum through her words about his daughter's education and it's final. He bent head and left.

He felt so suffocated with his peschi words, his throat is catching tears but didn't broke and to divert his mind he just came outside mandap and saw a woman Asking her daughter who is equal or may be 2-3 years elder than Bondita's age not to come for marriage. Daughter is pleading her mother to let her allow but mother is not allowing.

Arvind went and asked 'What happened behenji, why don't you bring your daughter inside? My daughters are also there please come, let them all play happily.'

Woman stumbled feeling too tensed to come inside and going back with her daughter. He didn't get it and requested with folding hands to tell what's the matter. We belong to bride side. Do you find any scarcity in arrangements, food or any kind of uncomfort. I shall call my wife or my peschi and look after it.

She thought in mind 'How to tell you that chandrachur is there inside. His gaze should not fall on my daughter.'

She mumbled it's not like that Arvind dada, but she saw Chandrachur approaching there, thought that demon is coming his glance should not fall in my unmarried daughter and hurriedly covered her daughter face with her pallu and walked away as if she is running and told that she will again come back.
