Author's POV:

Chandrachur in an isolated place is venting out his frustration by shouting loudly that I want you Bondita..I want you at any cost. Remembering her giggles, her climbing tree and her bare legs , her dimples , spark in her eyes and her father throwing him out, Arvind declaring that Chandrachur will not be the groom for Bondita. It's hurting him and he placed a burning fire stick on his chest and screamed with pain. His aide Praveen came and asked what kind of craziness is this and about to catch the burning fire stick.

Chandrachur threatened not to come near and asked his aide to contact and bribe postman of Krishnanagar and keep an eye on the letters Thakuma haveli is getting. I will enquire from the persons who are Arvind Das friends whom he wished in Uddhav marriage.

Suddenly a worker who is working in their shop came running to him and told that their shop is in trouble and his father asked him to come immediately
Chandrachur is shocked and went back to his house.

When he reached home his shop is getting ceased by officers stating that few days before cheap quality material is bought.  Chandrachur recollected it, everytime he used to buy best quality only but few days he is raging with insult done by Arvind and other party suppliers have shown their products with cheap price and he took stupid decision and now the result is shop getting ceased and a police complaint is also going to be filed.

Chandrachur and his father are in dilemma. Constable called chandrachur aside and told that their angrezi officer will close the case if he got bribed. Chandrachur readily agreed to give and settled the matter in short time and they opened the shop again..

Suddenly Chandrachur got an idea and called constable aside. He asked if their angrezi officer can do any work if he pay bribe.

Constable sternly looked at him from top to bottom and asked what kind of job you want to get done.

He told that he want to search a family in Calcutta. Constable told that 'For making bigger jobs done by our sir, you have to satisfy him in all means for atleast 2 years by alcohol, by sending ladies, by giving money,by doing any works given by him in his cases etc.'

Chandrachur: 2 years and he said ok. He thought that keeping these officers in grip will definitely help him and he smirked. He decided to go Thakuma haveli to maintain his fame in her good books.

He went to haveli and impressed Thakuma, Rimjhim with his sweet words and told that their shop is in losses so I am working for a British officer to cover up those losses and with my hard earned money I shall clear my debts. He indirectly asking money by directly not asking about it and telling that he didn't like to take debts from anyone.

But Thakuma impressed with his honesty she offered him money and he gave it to Thomas as bribe. He started maintaining regular contact with Thakuma family and desparately waiting for Bondita.

Anirudh's pov:

The day Bondita convinced me to keep ny surname and be cool with baba, that evening kaka shared this happy news to his brother. Baba didn't take it seriously and told that 'Da you are trying to lift my mood. I can see that.'

Kaka: No Binoy, it's truth. Anirudh himself called Calcutta school and asked them to change his name to Anirudh Roy Chowdhary.

Baba: Da is it true?

Just then I entered and said 'Yes baba it's true. From today onwards I gave up hating you rather I will be with you and follow my mother's guidelines to build my personality because I believe in my way and why should I hate you when you are going to lose and get defeated in life with your methods, thought process.'
