Shubhra's demise

Author's POV:

Trilochan went to do havan in temple for welfare of Shubhra behen and her unborn child. He treats her like a little sister and daughter to him. He is fulfilling all the duties as a head of family.

Binoy is least bothered about her welfare. He married Shubhra because She is from orthodox traditional family, who knows all household works and suitable for Roy Chowdhary family and to keep prestige for outside world and among their relatives. According to Binoy, his duty as a husband is only to eat food which she cooked, give her money to buy her things on her own, sarees,  give physical pleasure in bed room and make her pregnant and that's it. He believe in his Trilochan dada who would take care of her perfectly as a family head along with maids assistance. So he (Binoy) need not bother about his wife.

However in temple Trilochan couldn't complete havan properly as there is a strong wind going on and fire couldn't stand and is getting blown despite how many trials all the pandits had done.

Priests started murmuring that it is a bad omen may be Goddess, nature is not co-operating with Roy Chowdhary wish to fulfill and this made Trilochan to feel nervous. He is feeling uneasy in his heart.

If anything happens to Shubhra behen Anirudh erupts like a volcano and three brothers will be shattered In showing aggressiveness Anirudh almost resembles his late grandfather (Trilochan, Binoy father) but the difference is Anirudh fights for changes and for women's welfare but his late grandfather is a moron he always bothered about Zamindars prestige, honour and respect in society.

Other priests suggested that an elder priest is there near goddess idol who is best in fortune telling and Trilochan is suggested to consult him. Latter agreed, went to him and explained everything. He closed eyes for a while and sighed out of displeasure.  Trilochan is more worried now.

Elder priest who had thrown fierce look at Trilochan and told a sloka 'Yatra naryastu pujyate..' and told the meaning that Gods and goddesses will be there where women will be respected  . Trilochan unknowingly bent his head in shame.

Elder priest predicted that 'You and your brother played with two women lives and now you came for life of your sister in law after her husband had already done lot of damage to her mind, soul and body. Nothing can make her Better she will go away, you both have to pay for all misdeeds in this life only.

Trilochan understood that he is talking about his broken marriage with Kalindi and Binoy mistreating, harrasing his wife.

Without uttering any word, the elder priest understood his dilemma and replied 'Trilochan babu,  from last 3 generations your khandan bahus are suffering and leaving the world in young age only. Still you men are being safe, wealthy and healthy means it is due to their (Rc house bahus) mercy, their prayers , their unconditional love and their forgiving nature. Once again your house Children are going to lose mother like you both twin brothers lost your mother in your childhood.

Morons and male egoists like you are thinking that it is written in scriptures to degrade betray women is your birth right and by doing this you are making goddesses also anger.  But you don't worry. Where the problem took birth solution also will take birth.

The solution for getting rid of all your misdeeds have taken birth in your house only, he is growing infront of your eyes, daily he is raising voice on you, warning you not to go beyond dignity and when time comes your family and even society will also learn from him.'

Trilochan eyes widened and has only person name and he murmured with trembling voice - Anirudh

Elder priest nodded as agreeing with him  and  left despite of Trilochan's request to tell a solution to come out of the present crisis.
