7 years Bondita POV:

My shikshak babu had become too silent after Shubhra kaki left. I didn't understand where she went. I asked my mother that where Shubhra kaki went and she told me that Shubhra kaki is with Durga maa she became goddess and is in sky shining as star.

Then I asked maa why did she become goddess who will look after Shikshak babu, Somnath dada and Bhatuk. Maa told that their kaka and baba will look after them.

I really doubt if his baba(Binoy) look after him, he beats my shikshak babu very badly. He didn't relent even blood flowing and my shikshak babu also very adamant, retorts back to his father. I sighed heavily and prayed Durga maa to take care of him.

I and Tapur used to play with our dolls in our village, where we used to take our mothers sarees tie them to us and imitate them. When Shubhra kaki went away to Durga maa and Shikshak babu not eating anything, I got this idea. I brought kaki photo and cheered him up,made him eat his food and made a tent with kaki sarees and asked him to sleep.

I and Tapur used to make tents with maa kaki old sarees and play like mothers to our dolls. Tupur won't join with us, she don't like me at all and she have her friends.

After few days Shikshak babu came into normal mood and started coming to school and we all have exams. He used to wipe his brothers' tears and used to cry when he is alone. He used to embrace a letter, some diaries and sit in his study room.

He always sleeps in the same tent which I made for him and it makes me feel proud that I am able to reduce his pain. Pari didi didn't like him sleeping in the tent on floor. She argued with him that he should go and sleep on bed so that his Shubhra maa will be more happy and about to Remove the tent. But he didn't let it remove it.

Pari didi also got angry on me for making such kind of tent she just tried to pull my ears but Shikshak babu saw this and stopped her shouted on her that not to harm me.

I thought to play in holidays with him, Bhatuk and Pari didi but Thakuma made a phone call and asked us to come to Krishnanagar and stay there for few days.

Baba(Arvind) seemed to be displeased with her request but however agreed for it and we all went to Krishnanagar.

I am so excited to meet them. Thakuma will pamper me as well as teach me all works. She uses rhyming words in her words which make me feel amazed. Baba doesn't like me to work he wants me to study, enjoy and play. But Thakuma always says : Thodi laat thodi baat tabhi samjhe aurat jaat.

Author's POV:

Trilochan read the farewell letter that his Shubhra behen written to him. She has asked him to handover a special letter to her future bahu . She asked him to think twice thrice before selecting wife for her sensitive and delicate kopal. She requested him (Trilochan) to make sure that her bahu will accompany in all his hardships and be a true life partner (Jeevan sathini, ardhangini)to him. She also raised her doubt in Letter that she really doubt if Soudamini truly likes her Kopal or not. Make sure before marriage Only(Here Binoy already announced to his dadaa and wife that in future he will get Soudamini married to Anirudh because both families will be benefited mutually).

Trilochan is in dilemma and decided to do as per Shubhra behen request.

Anirudh's pov:

I have been reading my mother's letter and her diaries whenever I get free time and used to keep close to my chest and feel that maa is there with me. But my pain is inconsolable . This much of injustice to a woman, whenever I think of it what happened to her, my eyes are shedding tears without my involvement.
