Bondita and Anirudh face villagers wrath

Author's POV:

Early that morning had brought full of happiness to Tupur who went with Shyamala Devi. When they are leaving, Bondita asked them to stop and went inside haveli packed few sarees, essential items of napkins , toiletries for her sister in a suitcase and also brought some money which Anirudh used to give her as a pocket money. She gave it to her sister to keep it. Tupur felt so embarrassed and emotional , but Bondita insisted to keep it else she will feel bad that still Tupur is thinking her as an outsider.

Anirudh came and stopped Bondita. She looked at him confused. He demanded to tell the truth if she is giving her pocket money to her sister. Bondita nodded. Anirudh smiled and said maintaining serious tone and look: Only you can give, won't I give her?

They both laughed and he took his wallet from his pocket and offered money to Tupur. She felt hesitated but Anirudh asked : won't you accept pocket money from your brother.

Tupur with little tears in eyes, took it and Anirudh asked her to be brave and we all are there with you in this critical stage. Never think that you are alone.

Tupur while leaving embraced Bondita and thanked for everything and once again apologized for her rude behaviour in past. But Bondita praised Tupur that real greatness is in her character only that she had redeemed herself . Tupur went to shomik and apologized him if he think that she's keeping Das family respect in stake and leaving without informing maa and taking her blessings. Because she won't let me go and still keep cursing Bondita even now also, she will pull me back with her discouraging words which I can't take at present. So convey my wishes to maa and Tapur . I will prove myself and come back.

Shomik nodded with teary eyes. He too left when Tupur had left with Shyamala and took leave from Anirudh and Bondita.

When both husband and wife entered Haveli Trilochan stopped them by shouting: ' Ruko Anirudh, ruko bahu'.

They both stopped and looked at Trilochan wandering why he is angry. Binoy stood expression less but disappointed with the fact that news of their bahu being abused have come out and revealed Infront of entire Tulsipur. For every villager she will become a hot topic.

Trilochan to Anirudh: Do you know what you have done Anirudh?

They both looked at him perplexed thinking what problem had arisen now.

Anirudh: ab kya hua kaka?

Trilochan continued: why did you reveal infront of everyone that Bondita bahu is abused by her brother in law?

Anirudh: So what ?

Trilochan: Do you know it is going to tarnish our and mainly her's reputation? From today onwards who will respect us? Today mahapandits are coming to our haveli for Ekadashi mahapuja. Will we get the honor to do puja if the news is leaked to them? What is the necessity to raise Bondita bahu name in public? Dispute is between her sister and her husband, right? You could have only spoken their matters, but why did you raise Bondita bahu name there? Answer me.

Anirudh: kaka, here Bondita is not at fault. Bondita truth is also needed to come out else everyone may think Tupur is lying and no one believe her that her husband is not behaving properly with her. They will insist to tell the reason. So truth had to come out.

Trilochan: Then along with this truth problems are also going to come.

Anirudh; what problems? Will mahapandits take away the rights to do puja?

Binoy came and told with dark tone: From today onwards every man will look at her with lustful eyes. People are interested in gossiping about others especially ladies and their character, these are always topics which they enjoy to discuss.
