"No there isn't" John B said.
"No really look". He points into the water
We go over and look to see that there was really a boat there.
"Let's get a closer look!" I said taking off my clothes and jumping into the water with JJ.
Next was John B then Kie. Pope was the last one.
"Hurry up!" I yelled
"Pope get your ass in here!" JJ yelled as Pope did a cannon ball into the water.
We went under the water and swam to take a closer look at the boat when we finished our examination we swam back to the surface.
I took a breath of air as my head came out of the water.
"You guys see that!?" I said.
"Ya!" Every one said with excitement
"You guys THATS a Grady-White!" JJ continued on about the boat but the splashes of the water of us swimming back to the boat drained him out.
"That's the boat I saw when I surfed the surge."
John B said.
"You surfed the surge?" Kie said concerned.
"Yah that's my boy pogue style" JJ said dabbing John B up.
John B and JJ went over to the side of the boat that the anchor was in.
"Wait do we know who's boat that is?" Pope asked.
"No but we're about to find out." John B said hoisting the anchor up out of its compartment. Took it to the edge with him and was prepared to jump,
"Dude, it's to deep" JJ said to John B.
"Oh, for the weak and feeble, JJ"
"Well, I'm not resuscitating you. I'm just making that clear up front." JJ replied.
"That's fine"
"John B" Kie said seriously with the look my mom gave me when I climbed higher in the tree in our backyard.
"What?" John B chuckled.
"Diver down, idiot" I said.
"Diver down." John B sighs
"YAH, HE IS" JJ pushes John B into the water.
As John B goes under we watch over the edge waiting for him to come back up. I look around a bit nervous and I guess JJ noticed so he nudged me and said.
"Don't worry, Pogues4life, ok" He looked me in the eyes and I saw his salty blue eyes.
"Pogues4life" I said back assuring him I'm ok. Then Pope spoke,
"Should we go and get him?" He said a bit worried.
Be fore any one could answer John B had resurfaced and we helped him onto the boat.
"What did you find down there?" I asked him.
He hands me a key so I take a closer look and see that they are motel keys.
"Should we go take a look at it?" I suggest to them.
"Totally" JJ replies. The others agree and so we start the boat back up and start heading to land. Just then my phone goes of, it was grams.
When I open the text she was asking me if I could come back with some food. I sighed at the thought of missing the rest of the night with my friends but I want to help out grams now too.
So I made my decision.
"Hey John B can you drop me off at your place? Grams needs me to come home." I explain.
"Why can't you just stay with us? You did it last time I mean your grams will be fine." Kie chuckled.
I look around nervously trying to come up with something to say when JJ says.
"Hey lay off her Kie if she wants to go back then let's bring her back." JJ tells her then looks at me with an assuring look.
When we finally got to John B's I said bye to everyone and headed off the boat. When I started walking to the car JJ stopped me.
"Hey Lily I think I left my phone in your car hang on one sec." He jumped down from the boat and ran over to me. I unlocked the car and looked around.
"JJ I don't see your phone?" I turned to him.
"Ya because I have it." He smirked.
"So then why'd you come over here?"
"Because I wanted to check on you, why didn't you want to tell them that you had a fight with your grams?" He looks at me concerned.
"I don't know really I guess I didn't want to tell them how the fight started really thought they would see me differently." I looked down.
"Hey that's alright no need to stress over it ok." He smiled and moved his fingers through his half wet and half dry blonde hair.
"Thanks for checking on me J." I hugged him.
"No problem" he hugged me back.
I could feel his arm squeeze around my waist and his warm body heat rap around me. It felt like I could stay there forever.
"JJ hurry up man!" Pope called out from the boat. I guess both of us got lost in the hug because we were both startled when Pope shouted.
"Right we'll um bye." He said walking off.
"Um bye" I got in the car,started it and drove of to look for some food to bring to grams.
