A soft scrunching of bedsheets awoke me the following morning. Slowly, I let my eyelids gain the strength to flutter open as I adjusted quietly to my surroundings. Sleeping soundly next to me was Ryan, but it didn't take long for him to stir. At first, the worst came to mind. I feared at my decisions and how they'd come back to haunt me, I was hoping I hadn't made a mistake.

"Morning." Ryan mumbled with his face buried into the pillow. I giggled an sat up, arching my back as I stretched.

"Hey, Ryan?"

"Yeah?"

"You know that I was just upset last night and I didn't want to seem as though I was trying to...I wasn't wanting...I wasn't thinking straight and-"

Ryan halted my rambling with a contagious giggle. He rolled over and propped himself up on one elbow, facing me. His hair was messy and his eyes had dark circles underneath them, but none of that mattered since he was unconditionally attractive.

"Hey, don't worry. We didn't do anything. You know I'd never take advantage of you like that!" Gently, Ryan outstretched his arm and his fingers lightly caressed my cheek. I smiled admiringly at him before he got dressed and gave me some space whilst he went to make breakfast.

I went into Ryan's bathroom and used his face wash to clean myself up a little before borrowing some mouthwash and getting dressed again. Sitting down on the messy double bed in the middle of the light room, I found my phone and turned it on. As it registered a signal, I began to get messages and missed call notifications from various people. Most of them were from Patrick, and a couple were from Gabe. I text him saying I was fine before deciding to call Patrick.

After a few rings, he picked up.

"Morning Ell, are you...well, where are you?"

I laughed quietly, walking around Ryan's bedroom and looking at random things he had on his shelves and drawers.

"I stayed at Ryan's house last night. Both boys are with Pete, I went to tell him about Bronx about the baby and they're both thrilled."

"I'm so happy for you, I really am. Are you coming back to our house or are you going home?"

"I, I think I'll come back to yours. I need to pick Bodhi up but I'll be back tonight, if that's okay? Tell Gabe I'm okay too, his texts were getting crazy." I said with a small laugh.

"Of course it's fine, I love having you over! I'll tell him don't worry, see you tonight."

"That's Patrick, I appreciate it. See you later."

I ended the call and Ryan walked into the bedroom with a fresh smile on his face. I always admired him for being so positive even at the lowest of times, it was a quality that I only ever found in him and Gabe.

"I made some toast and stuff so you can come down when you're rea-"

Holding up one finger to Ryan, I covered my mouth with my free hand and ran into the bathroom, closing the door and throwing up into the toilet bowl. I cursed under my breath, wiping my mouth with some paper and standing back up, flushing the toilet and washing my face and hands.

"Ellianah? Let me in please, are you alright?" I heard Ryan knocking loudly on the other side of the door.

I sighed and opened the door to him. His worried expression was nothing to me but his protective hugs made me feel cherished.

"What is it? Are you sick? Do you need a doctor?"

I shook my head, pulling apart from him. Thinking for a split second, if everyone else close to me knew, Ryan may as well know because he'd find out soon anyway.
