QUESTION:
FALL OUT BOY or TWENTY ONE PILOTS
-------------
"Are you sure you want me to come and meet your family? I mean, I'm up for the football, obviously, but if you don't want me to meet your family I totally understand."
"Theo, don't be stupid. Of course I want you to meet my family! You're one of the most important people in my life and they need to know that, everyone needs to know that."
Smiling, I gave Theo a reassuring kiss. He draped his arm around my shoulders as we weaved our way through the busy streets of London, trying to find our way back to our hotel. Here, I was the tourist and Theo was the local.
As we walked together, my mind drifted to the thought of the children. It was hard leaving them with Pete, especially for a whole week, but I realised that if Pete could do it then I could too. And plus, that Lydia girl wasn't around when I dropped them off.
I had text Josh once we were back in the hotel. Theo was taking a shower and I turned on the TV, waiting for a call back from him. It didn't take long for my ringtone to sound and I quickly hit the green accept key.
"Hey Josh."
"Hi, safe flight? The kids alright?"
The way Josh spoke was so similar to Theo. Despite American's speaking the same language, how we formed sentences were polar opposites, it was so strange.
"Yeah everything was great and the kids are fine, I hope so anyway. God knows what could happen when Pete gets hold of them."
I heard the line crackle when Josh laughed. His laugh made me giggle it was so obscure.
"They'll be just fine, don't worry about it. Anyway, you free for drinks tonight? I fancy meeting this 'friend' you've got."
I could almost hear the smirk on his face and it certainly wasn't hard to paint a mental picture of Josh's facial expression at that moment. His teasing was second to none.
"Yeah, we're free. Where do you recommend? We can be there in about an hour probably, Theo takes more care in his hair than you do, Franceschi."
After arranging a place, I used the shower after Theo. I didn't take long and within twenty minutes I was dressed again. It wasn't a surprise to see Theo still messing around putting product in his thick, dark hair.
He finally decided he was finished when we had ten minutes left to find this pub that Josh suggested. Luckily, having a British boyfriend paid off in more than one respect. We arrived at a traditional looking pub in a more remote corner of London, towards the outskirts, and immediately saw Josh and Dan. I had been told that the other members of You Me At Six were coming down to the match tomorrow, so I'll be meeting them for the first time which was exciting.
I led Theo by the hand over to the two rowdy men arguing, already, about who was going to win the match tomorrow.
"Mate, Sanchez is going to rip apart your defence, Chris Smalling doesn't stand a chance!"
"You're bloody deluded! If you think Sanchez is better than Rooney just wait. Mata whipping balls into the box and then Herrera flying in with a bullet of a header, your keeper, whoever he is, will be flat on his arse by the end of the game!"
I cleared my throat loudly, making both of them cease their petty argument and turn to face us with huge grins plastered on their faces.
"Alright Ellianah?" Dan grinned and stood up to embrace me. I hugged him back and he introduced himself to Theo, shaking his hand.
