QUESTION: where are you guys from??? If you hadn't made an assumption from the endless Manchester United references, I am from Manchester, England.
(which also explains some of the phrases and slang I use in my writing which some of you are like wtf does that mean)
but yeah, which part of the world are you from? Let me know!!

"Wave bye bye to Mommy!"

"Bye bye!"

Bodhi grinned and frantically waved his hands around as I headed towards the door. I now had undercover policeman that would be around the neighbourhood throughout the day, just to check up on activity. Thanks to Pete, it made me feel that little bit safer here. It had been little over two weeks since he left, but it had made a real difference. I wouldn't have gone to the cops if Pete hadn't persuaded me too, there was no way at all, but I'm glad I did.

After taking the kids to nursery, I took a walk a couple of blocks away to another part of town where Theo was spending his day. Collecting some coffee from a street vender instantly warmed up my cold hands. Strolling in the cool, autumn breeze, I eventually found the fire station and walked up to the entrance. I rang on the side door bell and eventually, somebody answered.

"Hi, can I help you?"

A young man with a dashing smile greeted me with his overalls hanging down on his bottom half.

"Yeah, I was looking for Theo. Is he here?"

"Oh, you must be Ellianah! Come on in."

Smiling, I followed the gentleman upstairs, being careful not to spill any of the coffee. He led me through a corridor with walls full of coats and boots lined up against the wall. We then entered what I assumed was a common area with a kitchen corner and a pool table with a couple of bar stools around a central island. Then, he opened a door and we walked into a spacious room with sofas and a large television mounted on the wall. The majority of the seats were occupied with firemen, Theo's colleges, watching a football match on the TV.

"Theo, Ellianah is here to see you."

"Ooo Ellianah!"

"Theo your lady friend is here!"

"Theo's got a girlfriend, Theo's got a girlfriend!"

"Guys, shut up!"

Theo approached me with his cheeks flushing a crimson colour. I giggled quietly as he took my hand gently, leading me out of the lounge area and back into the common room. We sat down at the bar and I set the coffee down on the table.

"One Americano with extra milk."

Smiling, I handed him his favourite regular drink which he gladly accepted.

"Thank you. I'm sorry about them, they seem to make fun of me all the time."

"Don't be sorry, I know a whole lot of people like that. They all seem nice anyway."

I shrugged off the fact that they were impishly teasing Theo as it seemed like a regular thing for them. It was no surprise for boys to make fun of each other when a girl was concerned, it was quite funny to me.

"I'm glad you came, I was getting pretty bored."

"Oh, so I'm just a cure for boredom am I?"

Raising my eyebrow and putting on my best un-impressed expression, I couldn't help but fault a small smirk as Theo's face fell.

"No! I meant that-"

"I know what you meant, idiot."

"So I can kiss you?"
