Act XIII
Scene I

[Fade in]

"Hey, Y/n?" Tracy asked, looking over at her h/c friend. They were currently roaming the hallways, waiting for the first bell of the school day to ring.

"Hm?" Y/n replied, flattening out her shirt.

"Do you wanna go out for dinner tonight? Like, as a celebration for the play?"

Y/n looked confused, "Sure, but the play isn't for a couple of weeks."

Tracy tried to be sneaky about it, but her cover-up wasn't good enough, "Okay, fine! You got me! I was thinking about inviting Luca as well!"

"Just him? Won't it be awkward, then?"

Tracy was getting annoyed, "Okay!! Want me to invite Edgar?" she paused, a lightbulb appearing over her head, "It'll be like a double date!"

"Tra-cyyy!" Y/n buried her head in her hands, "I'm in."

Tracy grabbed Y/n by the hand, "Then it's decided! Let's go find them, now!"

They explored for a while, looking for the two males. Keeping an eye out for a pair of brown ponytails, Tracy finally spotted them.

"That's them! Come on!"

Jogging towards them, Tracy shouted, "Luca! Edgar!"

"Oh, hey, Tracy." Edgar turned around to find her, Y/n in the background, too tired to run over to them.

"Umm... Do you guys want to... want to go out to eat tonight, with us?" Tracy asked.

"Is there some sort of occasion going on, for us to all eat out together?" Luca questioned. Tracy did not look amused.

"W-Well, you know..." Tracy could feel heat rushing to her cheeks.

"As a celebration for the play, since we won't be available after this. We have busy schedules following the play, so we decided it's best to do it now," Y/n took over, "We also weren't sure if you guys would be free so close to opening night."

Y/n shot Tracy a look, saying, "You're welcome," and Tracy gave an apologetic look back.

"Oh, that makes sense. I'm free tonight, what about you, Edgar?" Luca nodded, eyes trailing over to Edgar.

"I should be able to, just let me know when and where."

"7:00, at the local fish 'n chips place?" Y/n suggested.

"Sounds good," Luca said, Edgar was nodding as well.

"Great~ See you then!" Tracy waved to them, pulling Y/n in the opposite direction of the boys.

Tracy squealed, "Help me pick out which outfit to wear when I get home! I'll text you!"

"How am I supposed to explain this to my parents..." Y/n complained.

"Just say you're going out with some friends, I guess," Tracy suggested, "Ooh! We should match outfits! I wonder if Luca will wear a suit..."

"We're going out to a fish 'n chips place, not a Michelin Star restaurant."

Tracy was a little too pumped up.

Scene II

[Fade in]

Despite having a large and prestigious school in the next town down, the neighboring town of Lakeside County was small and local. Since Y/n and the others all lived on the very edge of Lakeside, they could walk to and from school, but for students in the center of town it was different.
