I waited until I felt a little better and went up to my room. When I got there, I saw that Vince was trying to talk to me. I replied that I was drained and would speak to him as soon as possible. His concern was silly.

It was nightfall, and there was no sign of Cesar.

We dined practically in silence. Ron, Mary, and Chaos were all trying to spare me or protect me from the unwanted conversation.

After dinner, I thought about going to the pool or walking in the garden. Unfortunately, I tripped over something as I was leaving, and MaryAnne managed to catch me around the waist, restoring my balance. During that confusion, I felt mild cramps. I figured it must have been from the scare and even took a few steps towards the pool. But then I started to feel pain again, and it seemed to be getting worse and worse. So I ran up to my room to be quiet to see if that would help. Unfortunately, it didn't. I contorted on the floor until I couldn't hold on anymore.

I lost my baby in the most gross, ridiculous, and absurd way.
