The dinner table was lively with conversation and laughter. Everyone was there, except for Chaos. Cesar, Lilian, MaryAnne, Rony, and the guest couple were enjoying their meal. Lilian looked tense, and Cesar couldn't take his eyes off her, trying to understand why.

The door opened, and Chaos walked in, looking completely at ease in his flowing gray t-shirt. Lilian's eyes followed his every move, and both Rony and Cesar noticed.

Chaos joined the table, adding a new energy to the room. Lilian tried to join in, but she seemed far away. An assistant approached Cesar and whispered something. His expression changed.

"What? She's here now?" Cesar asked, just loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Uh-oh," Rony said quietly.

"It's fine. Chaos..." Cesar said, trying to stay calm. "Your friend is waiting for you in the office."

Chaos stood up and looked at Cesar, who nodded. "It's Shannon," he said.

Chaos left, and everyone continued eating, but the mood had shifted. As they started dessert, they heard laughter from the office. Whatever Chaos was doing, it sounded like fun.

After dessert, they moved to the living room for some wine. Even MaryAnne was chatty, making the scene feel like a painting of good friends.

When the guest couple decided to go to bed, Cesar and Lilian quickly went upstairs. The earlier tension was back. They walked through the hallway, listening.

Then they heard it. Muffled voices and laughter. They passed Chaos's door and paused, hearing Shannon's voice mixed with his.

"And that's why you killed your son," Lilian said suddenly, her voice full of pain.

Cesar's face twisted with anger. He raised his hand as if to strike her. Lilian stood her ground, scared but firm. Cesar's hand shook, but he didn't hit her. He clenched his fist instead.

Before anything else could happen, Rony appeared and pulled Lilian away. "Oh no, no, no. No, Poodle..." he said softly, taking her to her room. He closed the door behind them. "There's a lot happening. Let's take a break. Everything will be fine."

The next morning, the tension was still there. Cesar and Lilian avoided each other. Chaos came downstairs with Shannon, who looked smug.

"Why don't you marry her and get it over with?" Lilian asked, her voice full of anger.

"Don't start," Cesar replied, equally upset.

"Whoa!" the friend stepped in, trying to calm things down. "What's with the frowns?"

"Some things in life really irritate me... jealousy is one of them," Cesar said, clearly annoyed.

"I just told you to marry her!" Lilian said, frustrated.

"Lilly, calm down," the friend tried to soothe her.

"Excuse me," Lilian said, getting up to leave. Talking more would only make things worse. She needed to get away from the chaos.
