Chapter 1

"Thank you so much, Mrs, Zacarlas." The principal said before they shake their hands with my mom.

"You're welcome. And, I hoped they'll study well because this is a great opportunity for them to continue their dreams." My mom said and looked at the chosen students.

My mind blew again to someone else. My eyes immediately searched to where Trivan was. I saw him standing close to the girl he's talking with kanina. The girl is talking to her 'bout something but he's busy with his phone. A small one phone. I suddenly looked at my iphone. I realize that our lives is so much different from each other.

I sighed and put the strands of my hair on the back of my ear and looked at my shoes while my mom is still busy talking to the teachers. I'm standing close to her. Some of the guys at the back burst out laughing, they're having their conversation. When they notice me staring at them, they playfully winked at me. I just looked away.

"Thank you again po," The teachers said again, I looked up and looked at my mom.

"You're welcome." she said and glanced at me. "We're going,"

"Thank you, Ms. Zacarlas." They said and bowed at me.

My eyes widened and bowed at them too. The shock on their face is evident because of what I did. Then, what should I do? Snob them? I'm not like that. My mom held my hand and pulled me closer to her. The students thank my mom again.

"Thank you po, Mrs. Zacarlas!"

My mom smiled at them. "You're welcome, you're welcome." she said stressfuly.

Our bodyguards is outside, waiting for us. My mom stepped outside the office. She looked so stressed. I know she regreted being here. I think she really believes what her horoscope said. She can sign the papers at our mansion but she chose to sign it here.

"God, wala ba silang aircon? It's so hot in here." she said disgustedly while fixing her chanel outfit.

I scoffed in disbelief and looked at the students who heared her, including Trivan. Our eyes met. He looked calm but I can sense his anger towards my mom or even to me for judging their university! I didn't say anything! Good thing that the teachers here is still inside the office.

"Mom, let's go home." I said hurridly. I can feel their eyes all on us. It's embarrasing me!

"We will, Darling." she said.

I glanced back at Trivan. His brows are furrowed while still looking at my mom. His friends too before they walked away. I just want the earth to eat me right now because of the embarrassment! My mom didn't notice how big impact her words can affect to others! Pati ako, nadamay!

I massaged my head when we got back to our mansion. I no longer expect the others to come to our mansion tomorrow because of what they heared earlier, especially Trivan. He looked dangerous. I think I like him?! His sex appeal is so strong! But, now... I don't think he'll like me back. He will think that I'm the same with my mom. The same attitude, but definitely not!
