"Uh... Ms. Zacarlas? Trivan?"

Parehas kameng napalingon ni Trivan sa kararating lang na si Patricia. Her mouth is dropped opened while looking at my hand on Trivan's hair. My eyes widened at agad inalis yung kamay ko.

I didn't know if she's standing there kanina pa! I'm too busy fixing his hair. Did she see everything? I thought she's still busy ordering us food then she's here na agad! I sit on my chair properly to lessen the awkwardness.

"Ah... you're here na! Let's eat!" I said and smiled at her like nothing happened.

She gave me a confused look kaya kinabahan ako agad. I need to be careful next time, muntik na ako kanina! What if she knew about my plan based on what I act kapag kame lang dalawa ni Trivan?!  Everything will messed up! Think, Suzein!

Trivan glanced at me kaya I look at him too. He gulped before he looked away. Patricia seated between us, still brows furrowed. I arranged our foods na lang. I took what I ordered before I started eating.

"Van, tulungan mo 'ko mamaya, hah." Patricia started a conversation.

I looked at both of them. Trivan is now eating carefully. Sobrang tipid niya kumain while Patricia is talking to him happily. Our eyes met but I looked away immediately like I had been caught in a crime pero wala naman! I'm overacting now. Calm down, Suzein.

"Saan?" he asked to her.

"Sa pre-calculus sana. Alam mo naman na mahina ako doon, 'di ba?"

I rolled my eyes secretly. She can't do it on her own? At, kailangan niya pa talaga ng tutor? She knows Trivan is working so he can earn a money tapos dadagdag pa siya. Or, she's just doing it to take advantage para makasama siya? Or, her prof didn't teach them clearly kaya naguguluhan pa siya?

"Titignan ko," he answered her.

"Bakit?" she's so annoying.

"May trabaho pa ako, Pat. Hindi ko lang pwedeng ipagpaliban 'yon para turuan ka." he answered her politely but I wanted to burst out laughing. What a second hand embarassment!

"Pero, may-"

Trivan cut her off. "Pumunta ka sa prof mo para maturuan ka niya ng maayos kung sakaling hindi ko magawa."

Patricia laugh awkwardly. "Ah, haha! Oo nga pala."

She continued eating and didn't talk anymore. Maybe, it's because of the embarassment she got earlier. I look at their sitting position. They looked like a couple while I'm the thirdwheel! What the hell!

I sipped on my mango shake before I took out my iphone. Nakita kong dala ni Trivan yung phone niya so I message him na lang dahil baka paghinalaan pa ako ni Patricia.

To: Babi

Sorry.

I sent it after I typed that word. I said sorry dahil baka he's mad at me. He'll think na baka hindi na siya magugustuhan ni Patricia because of what I did kanina. Patricia caught me while fixing his hair na dapat siya yung gagawa.

Trivan's phone made a sound, it's because of my text. His brows furrowed before he took it out inside the pocket of his pants. Patricia looked at him kaya kinabahan ako agad. What if she'll sneak to see who texted him?!
