"Ms. Zacarlas! Is it true that you're still in a serious relationship with Carlos Rivaleña?!"

"Your movie together is top tier!"

"Ms. Zacarlas! You look so beautiful!"

Cameras continued flashing on my face. I sigh heavily and pull down my cap again so that my face wouldn't be visible in their pictures and continue walking outside the airport. My body guards escorted me outside. I greeted my teeth dahil sa sobrang sikip ng lugar at hindi na ako makadaan ng maayos dahil sa mga tao.

I remained silent and didn't answer their questions. For what? If I would say na wala kaming relationship ni Carlos, my mom would say the opposite so it's useless. Dati tinatanggi ko but now that I know my mom style, hindi na lang ako nagsasalita. Or, sometimes I'll say no comment para tapos ang usapan.

The event that I attended on Paris is already done kaya bumalik na ako ulit dito sa New York. Katherine, the newlywed, is here too and balak naming magkita mamaya sa condo ko. Kasama yata ang New York sa list nila para sa honeymoon nila.

"This way, Ms. Zacarlas."

I nodded at sumunod sa body guard ko where a van is waiting for me. I walk hurriedly. They open the door for me kaya pumasok na ako agad. They close it immediately dahil sa mga taong nakapaligid sa van.

Tinted naman kaya they can't see me pero kita ko sila. I nodded my driver para makaalis na kami. I removed my cap and sighed heavily. I rested my head on the headrest of my seat. Kinuha ko ang phone ko to check my face. I'm wearing a Prada cotton crew-neck sweater. A black denim jeans partnered with black Converse low leather sneaker. And, for my bag it's a black Cleo brushed leather bag.

I check my social media accounts. I uploaded a few photos of me on instagram. Ito yung galing ako sa Paris event and pinost ko rin yung kanina ko lang kinuha. I'm only following my close friends and family kaya pictures lang nila ang nakikita ko. I didn't follow Carlos dahil maiinis lang ako sa pagmumukha niya.

I stop scrolling to my feed when the urge of checking Trivan's instagram account hit me again. I closed my eyes because of frustration before I turned off my phone. Ilang beses ko na iyon pinagiisipan but I never did. I'm just scared that I'll start over again, kagaya dati.

It's been already five years and wala na akong balita tungkol sakaniya. I only know na magkatrabaho sila ni Maya sa isang sikat na university sa Philippines. I'm happy for him though, he really became a teacher just like his dream. Kilala niya pa kaya ako?

I suffered three years and the two years... I used it to move on. Sobrang tagal na pala talaga. Karel is already married habang ako stuck pa rito sa showbiz. I sometimes wished na sana I didn't became famous. It's hard for me tuloy na makalabas dito. I have a contract and patapos siya ngayong year but I don't know if I'll sign for another one or I'll end my career. I wanted to end my career this year pero mahirap because my mom always decide for me.

[Hoy, papunta na kami dyan ni Deniel.] Katherine informed me.

My eyes widened. Kakabukas ko lang nang door ng condo ko then papunta na sila agad dito?! I look at my watch and hindi na ako makakapagluto so we'll end up ordering food.

"What?! Kakauwi ko lang sa condo ko! My god!"

She laughed. [May dala kaming foods 'no!]

I sighed. "Okay. Should I order pa?"

[Huwag na! Madami na 'tong na-order namin.]
