Ralph's POV
IT WAS A TIRING DAY at work, but later will be fun. I'm looking forward for the bachelor's party. Yes, someone is getting married. That someone is named Connor Nicholas Miller.
Finally, after years of waiting.. He finally did it. Graduation noon ni Valerie balak na niya mag-propose, but he chickened out. Years passed, he is still thinking if Valerie sees him as a husband. Napapailing na lang kami sa kanya.
"I'm scared, fuck. What if she say no?" He asked.
Napairap si Blaze at uminom lang ng alak sa baso niya. Napailing na lang kami kay Connor na nakatingin sa singsing na ibibigay niya kay Valerie. Umakbay si Jasper sa kanya at bumuntong hininga.
"Alam mo.. Napaka-duwag mo. Just propose! Ako nga biglaang proposal eh" Sabi niya.
It is true, Jasper proposed to Henrietta on their anniversary. Biglaan daw dahil singsing na nabibili lang daw sa gilid gilid ang naibigay niya. Nag-aaway na daw sila noong mga panahon na yun, kaya naisipan ng gago na mag-propose and problem solved, Hetta was so happy, hindi na sila nag-away.
Daniel shook his head. "If you want to propose, then propose. Don't think about rejection. Just accept whatever answer she will give you."
"Easy for you to say, she said yes without you finishing your lines." Sabi ni Connor.
Natawa kaming lahat. Well, that's true also. Daniel was saying his lovely speech to Alysha, but Alysha just took the ring and said yes. Daniel was shocked because he practiced his lines day and night, but looks like Alysha didn't cared about the words he said.
"She'll say yes, if she loves you and if she sees her future with you. Just don't propose with audiences. She might get pressured and just walk out because of embarrassment." Blaze said.
Napatingin ang lahat sa kanya. Tumaas kilay ng iba. "Nag-propose ka na ba?" Isaiah.
"Bakit parang mas alam mo? Engaged ka na?! Bakit ngayon mo lang sinabi?" Isaac.
"I proposed to Celestine before the incident." He said and looked at Connor. "Just calm down and say what your heart wants to say. No need for flowery lines."
Naningkit mata ko. So, he proposed... Sayang. Bakit hindi ko alam yun? Oh, yeah.. He bought a ring! Well.. two rings actually. What ring did he gave to Celestine? Or maybe he gave both? Damn, I miss Celestine. It's been years.
Nagawa na nga ni Connor ang proposal. It was a success. Valerie said yes and they are planning their wedding. I'm happy for them, lalo na si Celestaire. She cried when she heard the news. I just chuckled at her reaction.
Lumabas na ako ng kotse ko at pumasok na sa bar. As I went in, I walked to the stairs and went up. Habang pumapanik ay pinapanood ko ang mga tao sa dancefloor. They dancing wildly as the music plays.
Pagpanik sa taas ay naglakad ako papunta sa VIP room. As I went in the VIP room, I saw them there. Having fun and drinking. Naupo ako sa tabi ni Blaze na mukhang kanina pa nakakainom.
"Sorry, late" I said.
"It's okay, bro." Sabi ni Jasper at inabutan ako ng baso. "Pinayagan ako." Ngisi niya.
I chuckled. "Good for you."
"Ang saya saya ko!" Halakhak niya.
