CHAPTER 35

Celestine's POV

I CLOSED MY FIST AS I punch my thighs. Tears fall down to my cheeks and drop to my thighs. I wanted to scream all the pain, I've experienced. I'm too weak to speak, because of what I did.

For the past ten years, all I did is sleep with tears. Nightmares from the past haunting me every night, scared it might happen again. Leaving them was the only choice I have, for their safety and happiness.

When I saw them again, I was scared and glad seeing them that near. I was always at the shadows, watching them from afar. To avoid danger I might bring to them.

I looked the box in front of me. The box where the engagement ring Blaze gave me 10 years ago. I still have it. I never loss it, because it is the only memory I have from him.

And tonight, I've loss them too.

The regret of losing them when I have the chance to tell them. I always wanted to tell them who I really am. That Celestine Nicolette Miller still lives, but just using the name Celine Mendoza as a fake identity for no harm can come near them.

It really hurts to stop myself from being me. The real me who they always know. From the looks of it, I am still their Celes, just grown up and different. Different because of the eyes they used to know. The blue bell eyes that are like the sky and seas, shimmers at night when a reflect of light shines on it. The eyes they used to adore, the eyes he used to love and look at are now gone.

I was in the dark for years. Hiding and only seeing the dark. It was scary, but I got used to it. Accepting my fate to be alone, be no one and just waiting for my death.

Death. I was lucky to escape it, 10 years ago. It was really close tho. I've never thought of still seeing the world again, living, being successful, and meeting new people.

"Celestine, what are you talking about?" He asked.

I smiled as my tears fell. "Mahal na mahal ko kayo. Tell my parents that I love them and I'm sorry for being a bad daughter. Tell lola mahal na mahal ko siya at patawarin ako. Blaze, tell my siblings don't forget me. I love them so much. Pati mga kaibigan natin, mahal na mahal ko sila. " I looked at him. "Mahal na mahal kita, Blaze. Promise me to be tell them and be happy. I'm letting you go.."

"Love? Why? M-may nagawa ba ako? Is it about the gun?" He asked.
