CHAPTER 19

Celestaire's POV

I STARED AT MY table as I write down some things from the boutique. The sales of the dresses and gowns. I was just writing it all down, when a face flashed through my mind.

Ate Celestine's face. My mouth was open when she suddenly became Celine. I blinked twice and held on my pen tight. It's been a week since we went to Batangas. A week since I had a fight with my parents.

I was just so angry and hopeful at the same time. Angry at my parents, for just disregarding what I've told them. Hopeful, that Celine is really my sister. She's just denying it, but Dad really didn't seem to think of that. He says that, she's a different person and I need to give up on hoping my sister is still alive.

"Ma'am! Nababasa na po ng tubig yung mga tela!" Sigaw ni Mae.

Natarantang tumayo ako mula sa kinauupuan ko at tumakbo sa mga telang gagamitin ko para gumawa ng dress ng isang costumer. Pinatay ko ang water dispenser na kanina pa lumalawa dahil nakalimutan kong patayin!

"Shit!" I said and removed the cloth near the water dispense.

Mae took a mop and moped the floor. I groaned in frustration and put the cloth on a hanger and hang it near the electric fan. The wet part is only the hem of the cloth. Not until, the pen I'm still holding, poked the cloth and ripped it.

"Argh! Why so clumsy, Celestaire?" I said and threw the pen. I faced palm and sat on my chair.

Lumabas na si Mae at sinarado ang pintuan. Hindi na niya ako kinausap, dahil alam niyang mainit na ulo ko. I was massaging my temple when the door opened.

"Mae, may kailangan ba? Kung may costumer man, kaya niyo na yan."

"Having a bad day?" A voice guy said.

I looked at him and pouted. "I think so."

Ralph smiled and came up to me. He leaned over and kissed my forehead. "Don't pressure yourself. I heard you haven't slept these past few days."

"I'm just busy with the boutique and our wedding."

"Malayo pa ang kasal, mahal. Huwag mo muna intindihin." He said.

My lips made a small pout. "Bakit nandito ka?"

He went beside me and squat down to level my face. Hinawakan niya kamay ko at hinalikan ito. He smiled before looking deep into my eyes.

"Blaine called and told me to get you out of here. Napapansin daw niya at ng mga trabahador na lagi kang may iniisip at hindi makatuon sa nga ginagawa mo." He said and caresses my cheek.

I sighed and just rest my head on his shoulder. I felt him caressing my back as he let me rest on his shoulders. I felt so relieved and tired at the same time. He is my rest and I'm happy, I have my Ralph.

"Are you still thinking about last week?" He suddenly asked.

Natigilan ako at napatingin sa kanya. He just looked at me, waiting for my answer to his question. So, he already figure it out? Sabagay, hindi naman mahirap na hindi mahulaan kung ano talaga iniisip ko.

"Yeah.." I said in a small voice.

He nodded. "Okay.."

"I'm just distracted. Kasi naman, I believe she is my sister, but my parents are doubting me." I told him.
