CHAPTER 12

Celestaire's POV

I WAVED GOODBYE TO Mae and the others before hopping in my car. We are closing early. I decided giving them a half day. Blaine is fine with it and wala namang masyadong costumers.

I drive my way to my boyfriend's workplace. Well, I want to pay him a visit. A surprise visit, he doesn't know I'm going to his office.

As I step in the company, many welcomed me. I smiled and greeted them a good afternoon. As I got out the elevator, I walked to his office. Kita ko na halos lahat busy ang mga employees niya. I saw his secretary and walk to him.

"Barry!" I called him.

He smiled and hugged me. "Miss Iya! So gorgeous as ever!" Beso niya sakin.

Natawa ako at bumeso din. "Like you, mamsh."

He smirked. "I know, girl."

"Where's your boss?" I asked.

"Oh.. A meeting with the board and his handsome business partner slash best friend." He giggled like a girl.

I chuckled. "Single forever na yan."

"Ako sisira ng self love niya." Hagikgik niya.

"Kaya mo?"

She raised her brow and slightly slapped my shoulder. "Girl, kahit wala akong kipay, kaya ko parin paligayahin yan si fafa Blaze." Bulong niya.

I chuckled. "Okay, work your charms on him."

"I will and if hindi bumigay, I still have 10 crushes in this company. Like the new engineer, gosh. Miss Iya, napakagwapo as in." Sabi niya at niyugyog ako dahil sa kilig. "Bakit ba kasi ako pinanganak na lalaki? Eh pusong babae naman, 'day."

Natawa ako. "Didn't you asked your parents, Barry?"

"Sinagot naman nila ako."

"What did they said?" I asked.

He stood straight and acted like a tough man. "Bartolome, huwag kami anuhin mo. Hindi din namin alam na pusong babae ka habang nasa loob ka ng titan ng mama mo." Nilaliman niya boses niya. "Mag-pasalamat ka hindi ako mahigpit sayo. Tinanggap kita kahit baliko ka. Aba, kung naabutan mo lolo Tolome mo, hindi iyon matutuwa at nabugbog ka pa. Hindi pwede babading-bading sa kanya."

I couldn't help, but to chuckle. He's really fun. He entertains me whenever Ralph is not here, just like now. For 6 years of him working for Ralph. I found a new kind of friendship with him.

He rolled his eyes and stood back to his usual stand. "Hindi ko na kaya, hirap gayahin si papski. Sinermunan lang ang maganda nilang anak."

I laughed. "He has a point naman."

"Kahit na. Tsaka sinunod pa ako sa mga pangalan nila. Pwede naman na Barbie pinangalan sakin. Gosh, kaya Barry nalang mas okay pa sa Bartolome." Maarteng sabi niya.
