chapter 2

What did he mean wear something "sexy" uhmmm NO! I didn't even want to attend his stupid party and i wasn't going to. I just stood there in the hall with the note on my hand. I could see many faces staring at me, i mean of course, there's nosey people everywhere! I couldn't help but notice that Kela (robert's girlfriend) had just witnessed the whole encounter between Austin and i. She was just standing by her locker with just the same shocked expression that i had on my face. I knew i was gonna get into major trouble with Harley if Kela told her anything. I mean, don't get me wrong, i'm not scared of Harley and i wouldn't mind punching her in the face a few times but i'm just the type of girl who doesn't like arguments. I like being good with everyone. 

I quickly moved over to Kela to talk to her and make sure she didn't say anything. Kela saw my intentions to approach her but she didn't wanna cooperate. When i was about 10 feet away from her she quickly slammed her locker and walked to class.  

Great! It was for certain she was gonna tell Harley and i was getting involved in some unneccesary drama that i did not need in my life.  

This day was just going terrible and i had to tell someone, so i picked up my phone and called Danielle.

"Hello?" i hear her whisper

"Danielle, i need to talk to you, it's urgent!"

"dude are you serious? class is about to start can't it just wait for lunch?"

"No! it will only be a second?"

"hold on i'll just tell Mr.Martin i have to go to the bathroom, this better be important."

"It is, now hurry up! Bye."

I quickly headed to the vending machines to wait for Danielle. As i waited the thought of Austin wanting ME at his party kept replaying in my head, why would he want me there, he had never acknowledged my existence before so why now?  

I then saw Daniella approaching me with a confused look on her face.

"Ok, what's so important that you had to get me out of class to tell me?"

"Ok, You know that guy Austin?"

"Mahone? Of course i do. Everyone at school does."

"Well, he asked me to go to his party tonight, look! He even gave me his phone number and address."

"Wow! 'Wear something sexy?' This guy must really want you there."

"Yeah and that's not the worst part. 

He waited for me after class and grabbed me in a very awkward and uncomftorable position-"

" no way!" she almost yells

"Wait! The worst part is, Kela saw the whole thing and now i think she's going to tell Harley!"

"Wow! All that happened in one period? I really need to stay updated!"

"Come on, it's not funny! Help me!"

"I'm sorry, it's just funny, but here's what i suggest you do. Simply through the paper away and forget all about it. 

If Harley confronts you about it, then simply tell her you're not the slightest bit interested in her jerk of a boyfriend."

i see what Danielle is saying and i guess it really is that simple.

i glance at the note ne last time and i cant help but wonder if i really wanna get rid off it, i mean if i don't go to the party the least i could do is sell his phone number for good money.

What is he even playing? Why me out of all people/

"Ok Michaela, i have to go back to 

class before the teacher wonders if i got lost in the bathroom or something."

"Oh ok, thanks for the advice."

"No problem, and remember, GET RID OF THE NOTE!"

"Fine."

 As soon as Danielle was out of sight i grabbed the crumpled up note and stuck it in my back pocket. I know i'm asking for trouble by doing this but hey, i need to know what games this guy is playing.

I roamed the hallways in a deep thought about Austin when i suddenly felt my phone vibrate indicating i was getting a text. 

I slid the lock to see the new message, it was from Danielle.

Hey, did u get rid of the note?

My heart immediately started beating 10 times faster not knowing wether to tell Danielle i kept it or lying to her and telling her i did get rid of it. My mind immediately told me to do the easiest thing. I touched the screen in order to reply to Danielle's text, my fingers then tapped on the screen forming a message and then sending it.

Yes i did. xx

I felt bad about lying to Danielle but i had to go to Austin's party and find out why he suddenly took a sudden interest in me. I know i'm asking for problems but my curiosity always seems to get the best of me.
