*Michaela's POV*

i had woken up early to go shopping for an outfit, my mom went to work so i figured that i should go to the mall with danielle.

strangely, im so nervous for this party, i hear its gonna be big, not just in school but media wise, i hope theres no photographers there, i dont want a repeat from what happened last time, although i gotta admit, it was kinda great in a weird way.

i put on some jeans and a red flannel while waiting for danielle to show up. Austin texted me this morning being his usual corney self and he suggested i hang at his place and just get ready there. i was tempted to say yes but i kinda wanna surprise him so i have to get a great outfit. i decide im not gonna text him until im heading out.

As i scrolled through my phone, i kept remembering what Katelyn had told me.

Im still shocked that she helped me out but im so grateful, why would anyone like her hang with harley, i just dont get it.

as im lost in my thoughts i am zoned back when i hear my phone buzz with a text from danielle telling me shes outside.

We've been at the mall for over 2 hours and i cant find anything that suits me. Danielle found a strapless black dress with lots of glitter and shimmer, she also bought some red wedges and if i do say so myself, she looks so amazing, ugh i wish i could find clothes that i liked so easily, then again, everything looks good on danielle so..

"danielle. lets just go, i cant find anything i like." i nag

"no come on, we'll find you something to look good for your superstar boyfriend." she teases

"speak for yourself! you already found something to impress my superstar boyfriend's best friend."

she smiles and blushes at the same time thinking about Alex i guess.
As were walking we pass by a small store that has party dresses at my budget, we decide to go in thinking we may have some luck.

As soon as we walk in theres a bright red strapless dress that catches my eye instantly. red seems to be Austin's favorite color so it should be perfect.

i walk over and to my luck the dress is just my size and its a decent yet sexy length.
talk about luck

"this one is perfect." i say to danielle holding the dress over my body

danielle screaches "oh my god, michaela you are gonna look so hot in that."

i blush and immediately bring the dress to the cashier to pay for it.

Danielle and i are at my house getting ready, the party is in half an hour and ive already done my make up, curled my hair and got my heels on. Danielle is finishing the last touches on her makeup. i stand up to look at myself in the mirror and not even i can believe it, for once in my life i feel confident with my make up and outfit. i turn around and see danielle practically staring at me.

"what do you think?" i ask shyly

"michaela, you look hot, Austin wont be able to keep his hands or eyes off you."

i giggle "youre exxagerating."

"no! i mean it, you look beautiful."

i love danielle, she always boosts my confidence and makes me feel pretty, i always felt like danielle was 'the pretty friend' so hearing that from her made me feel so satisfied.

Danielle finishes up and like i thought she looks fucking gorgeous. her long hair hangs loosely over her shoulders and her makeup is done to perfection.

We decide to wait a few minutes before leaving.



as we sit on my bed i recieve a text from austin.

"babe, youre still coming right, you havent texted me all day."

"i dont care if i have to go over there and yank you here by your hair but youre coming."

i was joking, yes danielle and i are going together."

"dont worry ill be driving, were on our way, we should be there in about ten minutes."

Oh my! flirty Austin is so cute even over text. i show danielle the text and she gives me that ''i told you so' face.

We're about two minutes from Austin's house and for some reason i find myself incredibly nervous, this time its gonna be a real party not a 'private party' like the first time i came here. i feel tense and i hold on to the steering wheel like my life depends on it.

"michaela, calm down everythings gonna be fine." danielle laughs at my tension

i take a deep breath in and bring my car to the front of Austin's house.

"Whoa! this is his house?!?" danielle asks shocked clearly at how enormous the house is

i laugh "you do realize hes Austin mahone right?"

"yeah i know, i just didnt expect to see this mansion."

This party has barely started and its already crowded, i see people out in the lawn with red cups and there appears to be loud music coming from everywhere, i feel like i can barely hear mhself think. Danielle and i walk in passing the lawn and i see many familiar faces from school. it feels so weird to have so much atrention on me i wish i could just ignore it. As were walking to the porch i hear Alex yelling out.

"Danielle! Michaela!"

we turn around and see him standing alone which kind of dissapoints me, i really wanna see Austin. he looks good, hes wearing a pair of dark skinny jeans, a black leather jacket and a black pair of vans.

"hey alex." danielle blushes

"you both look great."

"thank you" we say in unison

the music is pretty loud and its kind of hard to hear without shouting

"Wheres Austin?" i ask

"He should be around here somewhere!"

he starts talkimg to danielle and i dont wanna interrupt them so i guess ill go on my own to find him.

"im gonna go look for him." i yell over the music

they both nod and go back to their conversation.

i decide to stay out in the lawn and search there first..

As im walking i seem to loose my sense of direction when i bump into a total stranger.

"im so sorry." i apologize

he turns to look at me and he looks familiar, i think ive seen him at school.

he studies my body from top to bottom and smirks

"its okay baby."

"i have a boyfriend." i quickly respond and his expression doesnt seem to change

"so, hes not here right now is he?" he starts getting closer to me and i try backing away but. it feels like my feet are glued to the grass

"whats your name gorgeous?" his breath reaks of alcohol and it frightens me.

i dont say anything and i try pushing him off but hes much bigger than i am so its no use.

"you dont have to play hard to get babe."

"can you leave me alone?" my voice is so soft i can barely hear myself over the music

"but i dont want to.." he tries leaning in but. i keep pushing him away, he fights back and holds my arms making me scared. at this point my feet feel like solid concrete.

"SHE SAID LEAVE HER ALONE!" i hear a familiar voice from behind me and i suddenly feel people around us watching....

oh great, now they come but they dont come when i need help...

bitches!


suddenly he lets me go and i turn around to see Austin stand to my. defense.
